Towanda 55 Tunkhannock 7
Rylee Vanderpool had two rushing touchdowns for Towanda as they defeated Tunkhannock in a Thursday night matchup. Tahshon Gardner had two touchdowns as well. For the Tigers, quarterback Joey Ross had a 75 yard touchdown run for the Tunkhannock’s only touchdown.
Western Wayne 41 Lakeland 14
Wildcats running back Josh Vinton rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a 27 yard touchdown catch as Western Wayne knocked off Lakeland. Chiefs running back Caden Cuozzo rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown.
Delaware Valley 40 Scranton 0
Warriors running back Ryder Machado rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Justin Kalitsnik had 107 yards on the ground and a touchdown. He also added an 83 yard touchdown catch as Delaware Valley pitched a shutout over Scranton. Knights quarterback Billy Maloney rushed for 50 yards.
Lake-Lehman 35 Hanover Area 6
Black Knights running backs Benjamin Dowling and Jim Mitkowski each rushed for two touchdowns each as Lake-Lehman got the victory on the road at Hanover Area. Hawkeyes running back Malachi Downey rushed for 127 yards and the team’s lone touchdown.
Valley View 31 Wallenpaupack 16
Cougars wideout Kyle Rupp had two touchdown catches and Nick Kuharski and Dominic Memo each had a rushing touchdown as Valley View defeated Wallenpaupack. The Buckhorns’ Aydin Greene and Ed Kiesendahl each had a rushing touchdown.
Pittston Area 41 Holy Redeemer 0
Patriots quarterback Drew DeLucca threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Lucas LoPresto had a touchdown catch and returned an interception 33 yards for a score as the Patriots defeated Holy Redeemer. Royals running back Josh Kreidler rushed for 45 yards.
Scranton Prep 41 Valley West 21
Wideouts Liam Barrett and James Pappas each had a touchdown catch and Quentin Palermo rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown as Scranton Prep took the road victory at Valley West. Spartans running back Tyler Mattis rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Lackawanna Trail 66 Holy Cross 0
Lions running backs Lukas Gumble and Brayden Martinez each added two rushing touchdowns as Lackawanna Trail had nine rushing touchdowns as a team and defeated Holy Cross. Crusaders quarterback Josh Lentowski rushed for 80 yards.
Shamokin 28 Nanticoke 14
Indians running back Justin Ginck had two rushing touchdowns and Logan Steele added a rushing touchdown as Shamokin defeated Nanticoke on the road. Trojans running back Zack Fox rushed for 190 yards and a touchdown.
Abington Heights 27 North Pocono 9
Comets quarterback Nick Bradley threw for 191 yards and a touchdown to Mason Fedor as Abington Heights defeated North Pocono. Trojans running back Kevin Wickizer rushed for 87 yards and North Pocono’s lone touchdown.
Crestwood 33 Berwick 27
Comets running back James Barrett rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown. Jack Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to Matt Sklarosky as Crestwood defeated Berwick. Bulldogs quarterback Ethan Lear rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns.
Dallas 14 Wilkes-Barre Area 7
Mountaineers quarterback Brady Zapoticky and wideout Zach Paczewski each added a rushing touchdown as Dallas stayed undefeated with a home victory over Wilkes-Barre Area. Wolf Pack running back Howie Shiner rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
Williamsport 24 Hazleton Area 21
Millionaires Caleb Williamson, Semaj Hale and Devon Harris each added a rushing touchdown as Williamsport defeated Hazleton Area at home. Cougars receiver Riley Van Gilst had three catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
Riverside 45 Old Forge 7
Vikings quarterback Chase Taddonio threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns. JJ Rogers, Reese Gaughan and Brayden Rose each caught touchdown passes as Riverside defeated Old Forge. The Blue Devils’ Joe Granko had a rushing touchdown for Old Forge’s only score.
Dunmore 47 Honesdale 21
Bucks running back Daniel Pigga rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Thomas Bowen threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Hornets running back Mason Avery rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.
Southern Columbia 34 Wyoming Area 7
Tigers running back Loudon Murphy had two touchdowns (One rushing, one receiving) as Southern Columbia defeated Wyoming Area. Warriors quarterback Anthony DeLucca threw a touchdown pass to Josh Mruk.
Mid Valley 22 West Scranton 7
Spartans running back Jakob Lesher rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown. Connor Hughes added a rushing touchdown and a touchdown catch as Mid Valley defeated West Scranton. Invaders wideout Zaeyvion Miller had six catches for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Susquehanna 14 Carbondale 7
Sabers running back Weston Yannone had a rushing touchdown and Steven Loby had a 21 yard fumble return for a score as Susquehanna defeated Carbondale. Chargers running back Ethen Brewen rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown.
