Fort LeBoeuf 28, North East 23
The Bison won their third straight game, 28-23, over North East in Region 5 action Thursday night. Dominic Walters accounted for four touchdowns, including three on the ground. Fort LeBoeuf led 28-9 after three quarters before holding off a late rally from the Pickers. Carter Crozier scored on a 77-yard run and caught a 14-yard pass from Bryson Galloway. The Bison took a 14-3 lead into the locker room when Walters scored on a 1-yard and tossed a 51-yard touchdown to Xavier Blose. Galloway threw a 6-yard touchdown to Logan Latimore before halftime, while Joel Morey opened the scoring with a 28-yard field goal. Walters added touchdown runs of two and 66 yards for the Bison. Galloway passed for 169 yards and two scores for North East, while Crozier caught seven passes for 108 yards and a touchdown.
McDowell 28, Erie 24
Stephon Porter rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns to lead McDowell past Erie High 28-24 Thursday night at Gus Anderson Field.

Sharon 20, Hickory 14
Kare’mez Norris scored on a 67-yard touchdown from Ethan Englemore and returned the second-half kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown to lead Sharon past Hickory 20-14 in Region 4 action.
Meadville 42, Oil City 6
Meadville built a 28-0 halftime lead and never looked back, beating Oil City 42-6. Jacoby Thompson scored on runs of 16 and 17 yards in the first half while also tossing a 46-yard touchdown to Tymir Phillips. Thompson rushed for 40 yards, while Jordan Lawrence led the Bulldogs with 112 yards on 12 carries, scoring on runs of five and 1-yard. Bradyn Miller added 94 yards for Meadville. Amari Grenaway also ran a touchdown for the Bulldogs. De’Vaughn Griffin scored on a 75-yard run for Oil City in the fourth quarter.
General McLane 62, Franklin 0
General McLane scored six touchdowns in the first quarter en route to a 62-0 victory over Franklin. Isaac Zietz completed 18-of-29 passes for 286 yards and five touchdowns. His twin brother, Jacob, caught four passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns, while Teige Berger, Caiden Holler, and Jackson Kiser also caught touchdowns. Holler caught four balls for 64 yards, while Holler hauled in four passes for 77 yards. Nick Swenson rushed for 92 on only three carries to lead the Lancers ground game. Cohen Beachly, Jacob Roth, and Berger also scored rushing touchdowns. Caden Mincer rushed for 30 yards to lead Franklin.
Cathedral Prep 52, Warren 7
Cathedral Prep scored all 52 points in the first half to remain unbeaten against Warren 52-7. Davin Friedman completed 6-of-8 passes for 156 yards, throwing touchdowns of 39 and 34 yards to Taijoun Williams and 40 yards to DaZarie Carson. Carson also ran a touchdown for the Ramblers, while Williams added a 29-yard punt return. Charbel Latouf ran an 86-yard touchdown and finished the night with a game-high 156 yards on only four carries. Matt Oblich returned a blocked punt 70 yards for a touchdown. Brady Shene ran a touchdown for the Dragons.
Corry 52, Girard 18
Nolan Carey completed 11-of-15 passes for 129 yards and three touchdowns to lead Corry past Girard. Carey threw touchdowns to Mason Savitz, Will Allen, and Nick Lesher. Lesher also rushed for a game-high 59 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Deion Canady also ran a touchdown for the Beavers. Ryan St. Julien passed for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Girard. Tyler Mayes and Kolton Miller had the receiving scores. Jesse Marino also returned a fumble for a touchdown for the Yellowjackets.
Mercyhurst Prep 35, Seneca 21
Vinnie Feliciano scored four touchdowns to help the Lakers end the Bobcats unbeaten season. Feliciano’s 96-yard run after the Lakers held Seneca on downs at their 4-yard line proved the difference as Mercyhurst Prep took a 28-21 lead. Feliciano’s 29-yard run sealed the contest with 1:59 to play. Seneca had taken a 21-20 lead following Rylan Hardwood’s 2-yard run in the third quarter. Harwood would also add scoring runs of two and five yards. However, Feliciano’s 38-yard run to close the first half put the Lakers up 20-14: Harwood and Zach Moats for 131 and 116 yards for the Bobcats.
Iroquois 40, Union City 0
Cole Bennett passed for 201 yards on only 3-of-7 passes, with all three going for touchdowns. The game featured a 99-yard touchdown pass from Bennett to Carmelo Hunter, who also caught a 42-yard scoring pass. Bennett also tossed a 60-yard score to Nykeem Abu-Zibiba. Cole Bennett also rushed for 77 yards on three carries and a touchdown. Ethan Alderson and Maddox Brown also had rushing scores for the Braves. Austin Brown rushed for 105 yards for Union City.
Fairview 23, Harbor Creek 14
Fairview rallied from a 14-0 halftime deficit to defeat Harbor Creek 23-14 Friday night. Ty’Shawn Jones and Gavin Zillman each had first-half rushing touchdowns to give the Huskies the lead, but the second half belonged to the Tigers. Fairview scored two touchdowns in the third stanza to draw, even as Vinny Campoli and Joey O’Reilly scored on runs of three and seven yards, respectively. A bad punt snap resulted in a safety that gave the Tigers a 16-14 lead. Campoli scored the game-clinching touchdown with 5:04 to play on an 8-yard run. He rushed for 136 yards on 17 carries. Tyler Benford added 80 yards on 13 attempts. Ty’Shawn Jones rushed for 84 for the Huskies, while Zillman led Harbor Creek with 101 yards on eight rushes.
Lakeview 28, Maplewood 13
Lakeview rebounded from last week’s defeat against Saegertown with a 28-13 victory against Maplewood. Big plays were the name of the game for the Sailors. Blake Skiles scored on runs of 50 and 10 yards while rushing for a game-high 103 yards on 10 carries. Leyton Zacherl ran a 71-yard touchdown, and Gavin Schell scored on a 60-yard run. Zacherl and Schell rushed for 87 and 75 yards, respectively. Andrew Proper and Kyle Jordan scored rushing touchdowns for the Tigers. Proper led Maplewood with 91 yards on 16 carries, while Jordan added 86 and 22 attempts.
Cambridge Springs 36, Saegertown 3
Cambridge Springs returned to their ways with a 36-3 victory over Saegertown. Brett Kania rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils. Brandon Hoover added 126 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Hoover also threw a 47-yard touchdown to Kaydin McFarren. Morgan Applebee threw a 16-yard touchdown to Hoover.
Sharpsville 34, Reynolds 12
In a game that featured four 100-yard rushers, Sharpsville ended Reynolds’s unbeaten season 34-12. Jaiden White and Geno Currie rushed for the Blue Devils for 138 and 115 yards, respectively. White added an 85-yard kickoff return after the Raiders opened the scoring on a 34-yard touchdown run by Xavier Zachrich. Jaiden White later sealed the game with a 27-yard run in the fourth quarter. Sharpsville broke a 12-12 halftime tie as Aiden Puskar caught a 32-yard pass from Aiden Coleman early in the third quarter. It was the only pass the Blue Devils completed in the game. Geno Currie gave Sharpsville a 12-6 lead with an 11-yard run in the second quarter. Currie added a 1-yard run in the third quarter. The Raiders’ other score came on a 5-yard run by Zachrich with 33 to play in the half. Zachrich and Gabe Minjarez both rushed for 102 yards for Reynolds.
Farrell 58, Mercer 0
Aaron Pegues threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns to lead Farrell to its first victory of 2024. Julius Phillips, Nemo Jones, and Deymar Cain caught touchdowns from Pegues. The trio had 101, 99, and 85 yards receiving, respectively. Phillips also returned two punts for touchdowns. Juelz Johnson returned from injury to gain 20 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns. Cain and Jason Marshall also had rushing touchdowns for the Steelers.
Greenville 62, Cochranton 0
Nick Solderich threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns while adding 27 on the ground and a touchdown to lead Greenville to their third straight victory. Rudy Gentile ran for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns on eight carries. Cael Thurber scored a rushing touchdown and returned an interception for the Trojans. Swayze Walker rushed and passed for a touchdown. Greenville led 48-0 at halftime.
Titusville 46, Conneaut 19
Jaxon Covell became Titusville’s all-time leading rusher while the Rockets cruised to their third straight win. Covell rushed for 197 yards on carries and two touchdowns, while Kameron Mong also went over the century mark for Titusville with 106 yards on ten carries and a touchdown. Ian McDonald completed 3-of-6 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown, Mong also threw a 32-yard score to Covell, who added an interception. Joe Furgiuele ran for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Eagles.
Northwestern 32, Eisenhower 14
Northwestern had five players score touchdowns as the Wildcats earned their first victory of 2024. David White, Brody Bickenhouser, and Keegan Miller each scored rushing touchdowns, with White and Miller each rushing for 38 yards. Braden Swift led the Wildcats with 46 yards on the ground. Swift threw an 80-yard touchdown to Reese Gonzales, while Avery Merrit returned an interception for a touchdown. Logan Penley had a pair of rushing touchdowns for Eisenhower. Caleb Jakubczak completed 7-of-19 passes for 108 yards with an interception and led the Knights with 80 yards rushing.

Wilmington 58, Kennedy Catholic 0
The Greyhounds limited Kennedy Catholic to zero yards of total offense on Saturday en route to a 58-0 victory. Freddie Zehetner caught a pair of touchdowns from Wesley Vass-Gal in the first quarter and finished the afternoon with two receptions for 60 yards. Jamie Miller and Michael Mistretta each scored twice for Wilmington.
Grove City 42, Slippery Rock 7
Jaxyn Wilson rushed for 158 yards and five touchdowns to lead Grove City past rival Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon at Forker Field.
