Why do you play football?
I play football for the comradery, violence, and the ability to celebrate with my closest friends.
How long have you been playing football?
I have been playing for five years.
Do you play any other sports?
I wrestled from 7th to 9th grade and I threw shotput and discus 8th and 10th grade.
What got you into playing football?
My neighbor’s dad was the head midget football coach and while we were playing basketball he saw me and immediately told me to try out for football that year.
Have you played any other positions other than the ones you play now?
Guard, center and some linebacker, but nothing last year or on varsity.
How will your senior year be different than previous years?
I’ve definitely grown into more of a leadership role as compared to last year, and I’ve also grown a lot in the weight room. In short I think this will be my best season by far.
What are your personal goals for this season?
Just to do better than last year.
What has been your favorite moment in your sports career up to this point?
Beating Cumberland Valley in their stadium to move on in the playoffs.
Who would you say has been your biggest influence?
My mother, she motivates me to work as hard as she does to keep us afloat.
Do you have any favorite sports teams?
The Eagles, the 76ers, and the Yankees, in that order.
Which of the Eagles’ two Super Bowls was more fun for you to watch?
The first one against the Patriots for sure.
Do you have any favorite players?
Aaron Donald before he retired, right now it has to be Ashton Jeanty.
Are there any players that you try to model your game after?
Definitely Aaron Donald because of our similar height.
What would be your dream vacation destination?
Japan.
What’s your go to restaurant when you need a big meal?
Red Crab or Giovanni’s Pizza.
What pro/college stadiums would you love to see a game at?
Beaver Stadium and “The Horseshoe.”
What would be your dream college to attend?
Franklin and Marshall.
What does gameday look like for you?
Wake up and have at least 3 bananas before we have our team meal after school, then listen to music until we get to the stadium, finally warm up before and after stretch lines.
Do you have any favorite music artists or genres?
Not really, I’ve always been taught to listen to anything.
Do you have any songs that you like to listen to on gameday?
Typically I listen to whatever the team has blasting on the big speaker.
What’s the most food you’ve ever eaten in one sitting?
100 wings and some fries on a cruise ship last summer.
If you weren’t playing football, what would be your dream job?
Business owner, specifically a cornershop.
What are your plans for after high school?
To play college football and study for a degree in supply chain management.
When you aren’t playing football, what is your go to activity?
Gaming.
What is something you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Score a touchdown.
If you ever scored a touchdown, what celly are you hitting?
Deion Sanders’ high step.
What has been your favorite part of playing sports?
The friends I’ve made and my experiences with them.
What advice would you give to any of the upcoming freshmen or the underclassmen?
Stay humble and keep grinding.
