Why do you play football?
Some people play football for money nice cars and attention, but I do it out of just love for the game.
When did you start playing football?
Yes, I was going into middle school and I was debating on playing soccer or football, and I decided to take a chance and never looked back.
Have you played any other version of football?
No, tackle is the only version of football that I have played.
Do you or have you played any other sports other than football?
Yes I am a 3 sport athlete including football, basketball and track.
What position do you play in basketball?
I play center.
How long have you been doing those sports?
I have been a basketball player my whole life and track I’ve been doing for 2 years.
What was last year like for you playing high school football for the first time?
Very fun it was a whole new experience that I was thankful to have the opportunity to compete.
What do you expect to be different about this year than last year?
A lot, we are coming out of a summer that was on a whole other level than last year, and I can tell by our energy at practice we will give everything we have to have a good season.
What are your personal goals this season?
To make all state and to allow zero sacks.
What about your goals as a team?
To improve every day and every game, and of course to win.
What has been your favorite moment so far as a player?
My favorite moment would be lifting up the cedar bowl, it was a feeling like no other.
Do you have any favorite sports teams?
The Eagles and Duke Basketball.
What about any favorite players?
Trent Williams for football and Zion Williamson for basketball.
Do you try to model your game after those players?
Yes I love how violent Trent is and he was the first player I watched, so naturally I tried to play like him.
Who has been your biggest inspiration up to this point?
There have been a couple of people but the biggest ones would be my dad “Art,” and my brother Aiden who got me into the sport and convinced my parents to let me play.
Which of the two Eagles’ Super Bowls was more fun to watch?
The most recent one against the Chiefs was fun to watch.
What would be your dream vacation destination?
Definitely somewhere in the mountains so Switzerland would be up there.
Can you describe to me what kickoff looks like for you?
It’s a Friday so I’m already happy go through my school day, come home, rest, go back to school, and before you know it it’s kickoff.
Do you have any favorite music artists or a genre?
Definitely country music, and it would be the Zac Brown Band.
Do you have any songs you like to listen to on gameday?
No, on game day I like to be focused on football not music.
What would be your dream college to attend?
I don’t have a dream college but I have things I need to look for to find mine.
What is your plan after high school?
Go play football in college and we will see from there.
If you weren’t playing football, what would be your dream job?
Marine Biologist.
What is something that you want to do in football that may never actually happen?
Score a touchdown.
If you ever scored a touchdown, what’s the celly that you are hitting?
The Dougie.
What’s something non sports related that you want to achieve in your life?
I want to have a 4.0 GPA.
When you aren’t playing any kind of sport, what is your favorite hobby?
I love to fish, hike, and play video games.
What video game is your favorite?
Minecraft or Call of Duty.
Have you ever been to any pro sporting events?
Yes, the Phillies and the Flyers.
What was your favorite sports game ever to watch and why?
I forgot the exact game because I was so young, it was a Flyers game and there were a lot of fights and I was like “this is so cool.”
What has been your favorite part about playing sports?
The connections, lessons, and friends that I’ve made and learned are the most valuable thing that I’ve gained from sports.
Do you have any comments about the upcoming season?
We are excited to compete against the best is District 3.
