Academy Park sprints past Kensington 63-7

The Academy Park Knights and Kensington Tigers both entered Saturdays contest with 0-2 records. Academy Park was competitive in both of their defeats while Kensington took huge losses in their previous games. This game started with Kensington quickly going 3 and out and having to punt the ball deep in their own territory to the Knight’s. Academy Park would jump on the board quickly with a 25 yard rushing score. They scored another touchdown on the ground after Kensington went 3 and out on their second possession losing 15 yards and having to punt from their end zone. After 1 quarter of play Academy Park led 14-0. The second quarter was played partially under heavy rains but Academy Park still found a way to put up 5 more scores to take an 51-0 lead into the half. The second half they tacked on 2 more scores sandwiched in between Kensington scoring on a 4th and 15 on a 34 yard touchdown pass for the final score. Amongst the stars on the day for Academy Park were DL James Lawson who was in lockable and Athlete Lester Roberts.

Up next for Kensington is a divisional game with School of the Future while Academy Park will host Penn Wood in a conference game.
