Aliquippa answered right back with an 83-yard kick return from Arison Walker for a Quips touchdown. The extra point later went to be blocked by Mars to hold their lead.

Mars went on to punt, and Aliquippa took over at their own 31 yard-line. With a long run from John Tracy the drive was finished with a pass from Quentin Goode to Pittsburgh Panther commit Cameron Lindsey for a touchdown. The two-point conversion would be no good.

Later, the Fightin Planets punt with another three and out. That later led to a five-yard touchdown run for Cameron Lindsey, and the two-point conversion would be successful making it 34-7 at the half.

After the half, Mars kicked off to the Quips attempting an onside kick. Quips recovered and later scored on a 47-yard rushing touchdown from Tiqwai Hayes to make it 40-7, after the unsuccessful two-point conversion.

After a slight delay due to rain Aliquippa would get the ball back via another Mars punt and extend the lead to 47-7.

Mars continued their next drive and capped it off with a field goal. To make it 47-10 Aliquippa.

After a Mars interception of Aliquippa, they would drive down and make it a 48-17 game after a 41-yard passing touchdown from QB Luke Goodworth to Liam Hein, and the two-pointer was successful.

The final score would end up being an Aliquippa victory 47-24 despite the comeback effort of the Mars Fightin Planets.
