Fun Facts:

  • In 2024 West Philly won their first public league title in 83 years via their 18-0 win over Martin Luther King High.
  • RB Zahfir Cleveland ran through competition as a two-year starter rushing for 2052 yards and 16 touchdowns in two seasons as the featured back.
  • Teair Tart became the first Speedboy in the NFL since Bob Bell retired in 1978. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans Teair worked his way up from the practice squad to a full-time starter. This past offseason he signed a lucrative free agent deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • QB Ahmeir Green shattered the single game record for passing yards in his first start with 407 yards and 4 touchdowns and also created mayhem on defense recording 3 sacks as an edge rusher as the Speedboys fell just short of victory 47-42 to Manheim Central. Ahmeir also broke the single season record for passing yards with 1643 yards.
