The Bethel Park Black Hawks dominated tonight! Scoring 62 points and holding the West Mifflin Titans scoreless until the fourth quarter was impressive. A 62-14 victory showcased both their offensive firepower and strong defense. Sounds like the Black Hawks were in top form from start to finish!

The Black Hawks came out strong right from the start! Forcing a three-and-out on the Titans’ first drive and then quickly capitalizing with a touchdown to receiver Mitchell Paschl set the tone. That early passing touchdown followed by another score from David Dennison on the ground showed their versatility on offense. With a 14-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, it was clear Bethel Park was in control.

In the second quarter, they continued their dominance! Jovian Smith’s early receiving touchdown pushed the momentum even further in Bethel Park’s favor, making it 21-0. With Clancy Orie and Javaughn Moore each adding touchdowns before halftime, the Black Hawks stretched the lead to an overwhelming 35-0 by the half. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, while their defense remained impenetrable.

The third quarter was a bit slower in terms of scoring, but Bethel Park’s control over the game continued. Holding onto the ball from the kickoff until there were just 1:38 left in the quarter showed their ability to dominate possession and wear down the West Mifflin defense. Javaughn Moore’s second touchdown of the night capped off the quarter, pushing the lead to 41-0. Even though there weren’t as many explosive plays in the third quarter, the Black Hawks’ methodical drive kept the Titans out of rhythm.

The fourth quarter continued Bethel Park’s dominance, with Mitchell Paschl adding another touchdown early on to extend the lead to 48-0. West Mifflin finally managed to break through with a rushing touchdown from Armand Hill, but the Black Hawks quickly responded spectacularly with Jack Bruckner’s 84-yard kickoff return. Then, adding insult to injury, the Titans fumbled the ensuing kickoff, setting up Javaughn Moore for his third touchdown of the night, pushing the lead to a staggering 62-7. Jarelle Mason’s late touchdown for the Titans brought the final score to 62-14.

What an all-around performance by Bethel Park! Their offense, defense, and even special teams all contributed in a big way to this blowout win.

With this dominant win, the Bethel Park Black Hawks improved to 4-0, continuing their impressive undefeated start to the season. Their next challenge against the 1-3 Trinity Hillers at home should be a good opportunity to keep the momentum going.

Meanwhile, the West Mifflin Titans, now 2-2, will need to regroup quickly. Facing their 4-0 rivals, Thomas Jefferson Jaguars next will be a tough matchup, especially after this tough loss. It’ll be interesting to see if they can bounce back against such strong competition.
