Bethlehem Catholic’s Carter Vassa Committs to Towson

Standout Becahi WR, Carter Vassa, has officially announced his commitment to Towson University after receiving offers from numerous colleges including, Temple, New Haven, Sacred Heart, Stonehill, Central Connecticut State, Merrimack, and Maine. The Junior receiver totaled 50 receptions for 825 yards and 9 TDs on the 2025 season. Vassa’s electric season also included 1st Team All EPC WR, 1st Team All EPC Defensive ATH, 1st Team All Conference CB, 2nd Team All EPC CB, The Becahi reception and yards records, and a tie for #1 in Becahi’s receiving TD record.
His older brother, recently graduated Senior QB Cayden Vassa is committed to Lehigh College and showed off his dual threat ability this season with 1,364 passing yards and a 12-11 TD-Int ratio, as well as 107 carries for 1,053 yards and 15 rushing TDs. The Vassa brothers have been key players in Becahi’s success over the years, including an 8-5 regular season finish in 2025 that ended in a 49-28 loss to Southern Lehigh in the District 11 4A Finals.
The Golden Hawks hope they can get one last All EPC season out of Carter Vassa on both sides of the ball in his Senior year before he moves onto Johnny Unitas Stadium and the Towson Tigers Football Program.
