As the kickoff went underway both defenses from Bishop Canevin (3) and California Trojans (6) would be dominant not letting up any yards to start out the 1st quarter of the game

But Bishop Canevin’s QB Kole Olszewski would throw a bullet pass to his WR Jason Cross with astellar catch for a touchdown putting Bishop Canevin having the first points of the game.

Going into the second quarter both defenses still playing physically and stifling, the gameplay started off lackluster.

Eventually the Trojan defense let up another score as a rushing touchdown from RB Marquise Carter would take the lead to 14-0 over California.

With 3:15 left in the second quarter the Trojans offensive line would open a hole for RB Lee Qualk to take it all the way for a Trojan touchdown. Afterward going for a 2-pt conversion to shorten the lead worked, giving a 14-8 ball game.

Entering halftime, the tensions were high between the teams as the score was being led by the Crusaders 14-8 in the quarter final round.

As both teams went into the second half, the third quarter had the defenses staying strong for and playing very physical throughout the majority of the third quarter.

Late in the third quarter with 2:45 remaining, Bishop Canevin entered the redzone for another completion between the QB Kole Olszewski and WR Jason Cross. With a one-handed grab, this is the duo’s second scoring completion of the night. This brought the Crusdaers lead to 21-8

Going into the fourth quarter, Bishop Canvein’s offense was electric. Scoring two touchdowns to capitalize on the evening. Olszewski and Cross made another connection in the endzone, giving Olszewski three passing TDs and Cross three receiving TDs. Later on, A’Zjuan Marshall, RB for the Crusaders, takes it into the endzone bringing their lead t0 34-8

Bishop Canevin’s defense kept up with the Trojan’s offense, keeping them out of the endzone for the remaining time left in the game.

Bishop Canevin stomps the California Trojans 34-8 to end their season. The number sixth ranked Trojans will go home empty handed and hope to return to the playoffs next season. Bishop Canevin will have a rematch against the team that gave them their only loss on the season, Fort Cherry in the semi-final round of 1A playoffs for a spot in the championship.
