District 1 Statistical Leaders: 2023 Offense

The 2023 season ended a little over a month and a half ago and the District 1 staff here at PFN has been busy compiling stats. We looked at the following offensive categories: Passing Yards, Rushing Yards, and Receiving Yards. These are the top 5 student-athletes regardless of classification in each of those categories. Congratulations to each stat leader.

Passing Yards Champ–  Junior Matt Zollers out of Spring-Ford led the District in passing with 2,917 yards. He completed 63% of his passes and threw 37 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions.  The consensus 4-Star  currently holds 18 offers.

Rushing Yards Champ– Senior running back Kendell Cotrell led the district in rushing after compiling 2,046 yards on 199 attempts. He averaged 10.6 yards per carry on the way to scoring 32 touchdowns. He currently holds interest from Temple, New Hampshire, Penn State, Stone Hill, Villanova, Rutgers, & West Chester.

Receiving Yards Champ- Senior wide receiver Mason Scott averaged 23.71 yards per catch in 2023 while totaling 1,233 yards. the senior averaged 102.8 yards per game and scored 17 touchdowns. Mase currently holds offers from Cornell, Brown, Lafayette College, Appalachian State, Bryant, Columbia, Lehigh, & Marist.
