Key Players Returning – Montay Hollingsworth, Joe Himes, Cam Christman
What to Expect – Cathedral Prep will look to improve on their 7-4 campaign in 2023. The Ramblers need to replace the 2333 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns runningbacks Dajoure Hollingsworth and Suhtaun Lewis gave them. Starting quarterback Luke Costello, a Wake Forest baseball commit, passed for 1266 yards and 17 touchdowns but was also lost to graduation. Leading receiver Corey Allen returns after catching 21 passes for 376 yards and four scores. Leading tackler Montay Hollingsworth returns to lead the Rambler defense after 84 tackles and five sacks as a junior.

Key Players Returning -Markel Pope, Tajhae Thomas, Julian Harrington, Nyciere Smith, Amari Farmer, Chris Hamilton
- What to Expect: Erie High will look to improve on its 4-7 record from a season ago. The Royals will need to replace two first-team Region 6 players from a season ago: running back Adrien Tate and offensive lineman Amari Hopkins. Returning to lead the 2024 squad are second-team Region 6 performers Markel Pope (TE), Tajhae Thomas (RB), Julian Harrington (OL), Nyciere Smith (LB), Amari Farmer (LB), and Chris Hamilton (DB). The Royals also bring in Co-Region 2 player of the year Paul Johnson, who transferred from Mercyhurst Prep. Johnson rushed for 891 yards while passing for 1335 yards and accounting for 37 total offensive touchdowns
McDowell Trojans
2023 Season – 8-5
Head Coach – Aaron Slocum
Key Players Lost – Dom Berarducci, Cooper Cousins, Aidan Probst, Alex Sontheimer, Drew Pilatowski, Leo Whitaker, Parker Romines, Ricky Russell, John Dawson-Ruiz, Matt Herbe
Key Players Returning – Daymar Dickerson, James Zigler, Blayze Myers, Jake Hower, Stephon Porter, Gavin Magorien
What to Expect – Under the leadership of first-year head coach Aaron Slocum, McDowell brings back plenty of talent after a solid 8-5 campaign in 2023. The Trojans return quarterback Blayze Myers, who passed for 2686 yards and 34 touchdowns as a junior. Myers’ top target, James Zigler Jr., returns after hauling in 34 balls for 557 yards and four scores. Stephon Porter returns in the backfield after rushing for 548 yards, a team-high, and 11 scores.
