Lakeview 55, Cochranton 14
Lakeview snapped a 3-game skid with a 55-14 victory over Cochranton Thursday night. Brayden Booher scored five touchdowns and intercepted three passes on defense to lead the Sailors. Booher had five carries for 80 yards and three touchdowns while adding four receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Lakeview led 41-0 at halftime. Blake Skiles added a 53-yard scoring run and a 32-yard reception from Leyton Zacherl. Zacherl went a perfect 9-for-9 passing for 156 yards. Brayden Williams rushed for 77 yards on 16 carries with a pair of touchdowns for the Cardinals.
General McLane 35, Meadville 27
Isaac Zietz accounted for four touchdowns as General McLane won the Region 6 crown. He passed for 191 yards and three touchdowns while adding 70 yards rushing and a 5-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. The Lancers led 7-0 after a quarter and 14-7 at halftime on Zietz’s 6-yard touchdown to Teige Berger and his 15-yard strike to Caiden Holler. Meadville got a second-quarter touchdown run from Jordan Lawrence before Lawrence added a 10-yard run in the third even to score 14. General McLane took the lead for good when Isaac Zietz threw a 44-yard touchdown to Jacob Zietz, and Jared Corwin scored on a 2-yard run. Jacob Zietz caught six passes for 98 yards. Jacoby Thompson threw fourth-quarter touchdowns of 39 yards to Landon Carter and 15 yards to Tymir Phillips.

Hickory 69, Grove City 6
The Hornets led 63-0 at halftime in a dominating performance. Kelvin Morrison ran for 169 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries to lead Hickory. Zander Telesz completed 5-of-7 passes for 103 yards and four touchdowns. Jadon Phillips caught scoring passes of 29 and 26 yards, while Sebastian Bromley and Spencer Lee also added receiving touchdowns. Christian Dungee and Brody Bishop also ran touchdowns for Hickory. Grove City scored on a 76-yard kickoff return from Peyton Miller.
Sharon 63, Conneaut 7
Ethan Engelmore completed 7-of-9 passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns to lead Sharon over Conneaut. Engelmore threw two touchdowns to Bryson Roberson of 57 and three yards and a 50-yard touchdown to Ra’Keem Hughes on the first play from scrimmage. Ghafir Lampkins also threw a 55-yard touchdown to Hughes, who finished with 104 receiving yards on four catches. Engelmore also scored on a 2-yard run. Brock Ondo also recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown. Sharon led 55-0 at halftime. Terrian White, Anavyon Brown, and Marius Best also ran touchdowns for the Tigers.
Franklin 40, Eisenhower 34 – OT
Franklin rallied from a 34-20 fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Eisenhower 40-34 in overtime Friday night. Eisenhower had taken a 34-20 lead on Noah Gesing’s 9-yard run and Caleb Jakubczak’s 63-yard jaunt. Caden Mincer scored on a 1-yard followed by a 19-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Landon Lynch. Franklin held Eisenhower on downs, and Mincer ended the game with a 4-yard run. Eisenhower led 14-0 when Jakubczak returned a punt 47 yards for a touchdown, followed by Joe Gigliotti’s 3-yard run. Freddie Blackhurts scored on a 1-yard, and Mincer on a 25-yard run as Franklin tied the game at 14. But Jakubczak threw a 33-yard touchdown to Tanner Lookenhouse before halftime. Mincer rushed for 131 yards, while Blackhurst gained 76. Jakubczak rushed for 113 yards and passed for 107.
Girard 34, North East 27
The Yellowjackets won their second game with a 34-27 victory over North East. Carson Stevens threw for 238 yards and a touchdown, adding a rushing score. Tyler Mayes caught five passes for 140 yards, including the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. Bryson Galloway rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns while completing 11-of-25 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown to lead North East.
Mercyhurst Prep 42, Iroquois 6
Vinnie Feliciano rushed for over 300 yards and five touchdowns to lead Mercyhurst Prep past Iroquois. The Lakers led 35-0 at halftime. Mercyhurst Prep has now won five of its last six games.
Fort LeBoeuf 20, Harbor Creek 16
Damian Blose scored two rushing touchdowns to lead the Bison to a 20-16 victory over Harbor Creek. Fort LeBoeuf is now in a three-way tie with Corry and Fairview for first place in Region 5. Blose scored on runs of two and 15 yards, and Xavier Blose added a 1-yard run midway through the second quarter. Gavin Zillman scored on a 23-yard run to get the Huskies on the board in the third quarter. Heath Betza tossed an 11-yard touchdown to Tyshawn Jones before the Bison held on for victory.
Corry 40, Fairview 7
The Beavers scored three non-offensive touchdowns and had quarterback Nolan Carey threw three as Corry upended Fairview 40-7. Tyler Aderhold started things off with a punt return for a touchdown. Carey then threw an 11-yard touchdown to Mason Savitz and an 8-yard touchdown to Blake Cook, giving Corry a 20-0 lead. Fairview scored on Carlo Cimino’s 11-yard touchdown to Tyler DiVecchio, but Corry answered with Carey’s 3-yard touchdown to Savitz. Mason Savitz and Keaton Frisina returned interceptions for touchdowns in the second half.
Greenville 35, Saegertown 13
The Trojans led 28-0 at halftime and cruised to their seventh straight victory. Cael Thurber’s 18-yard pass to Justin Schell put the mercy clock into effect in the third quarter. Nick Solderich completed 6-of-7 passes for 133 yards while scoring on runs of one and eight yards, while Thurber added scoring runs of ten and 23 yards. Solderich went over 2000 career passing yards. Cru Scott and Aaron Shartle each had fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns for the Panthers. Shartle ran for 54 yards, and Scott led Saegertown with 87.
Cambridge Springs 44, Maplewood 20
Brett Kania rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns as the Blue Devils won their fifth consecutive game. Jon Daley opened the scoring with a 30-yard fumble return. Cambridge Springs then built a 22-0 lead after a quarter when Kaina scored on two and 7-yard runs. Derek Shaw and Kyle Jordan ran touchdowns of 78 and 11 yards in the second quarter to bring Maplewood to within 22-14 at halftime. Jordan Washington scored on a 4-yard for the Blue Devils in the third quarter before the Tigers answered with Andrew Proper’s 12-yard touchdown from Jordan in the fourth quarter, pulling Maplewood to 28-20. However, Kaina and Morgan Applebee scored nine and 3-yard runs to close the game. Jordan ran for 49 yards, while Proper added 30 for the Tigers.
Wilmington 49, Mercer 8
The Greyhounds built a 28-o halftime lead and never looked back en route to a 49-8 victory over Mercer. Wesley Vass-Gal threw first-half touchdowns of eight yards to Freddie Zehetner and 19 yards to Rowan Miller. Chase Mitcheltree and Michael Mistretta scored on 15 and 20-yard runs, respectively, to close out the opening 24 minutes. Mistretta added a 75-yard scoring run to invoke the mercy clock in the third quarter. Mitcheltree added touchdown runs of three and 31 yards as Wilmington led 49-0 in the fourth quarter. Noah Miller scored on a 2-yard run for the Mustangs. Mitcheltree rushed for 122 yards, while Mistretta gained 114.
Farrell 40, Sharpsville 21
Juelz Johnson ran for 160 yards and five touchdowns to lead Farrell past Sharpsville 40-21. Johnson added two rushing touchdowns before halftime, with the score tied at 14. The Steelers opened the scoring on Aaron Pegues’s 32-yard touchdown pass to Julius Phillips. Johnson scored his first touchdown on a 2-yard run late in the first quarter, giving Farrell a 14-7 lead. Jaiden White and Geno Currie scored on runs of four and 1-yard as Sharpsville tied the game at 14. Johnson added touchdown runs of eight and 38 yards before halftime. His 21 and 1-yard touchdown runs put the Steelers ahead 40-14 before White scored on a 22-yard run to close the scoring.
Erie 22, Euclid 0
The Royals recorded their second straight shutout with a 22-0 victory over Euclid High School. Erie took a 2-0 lead when Dante Darby was tackled in the end zone. Amari Farmer scored two rushing touchdowns for the Royals to put the game on ice.
Titusville 42, Slippery Rock 0
Javon Covell ran for over 200 yards and five touchdowns. Covell scored on runs of 50, 2, 22, and 85 yards while also catching a 38-yard touchdown pass from Ian McDonald. All of Covell’s touchdowns came in the first half. McDonald added a 24-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as Titusville bounced back from last week’s loss against Hickory.
McDowell 38, Austintown-Fitch 35
Blayze Myers threw a 1-yard touchdown to Stephon Porter with one second to play, lifting McDowell to a stunning 38-35 victory over Youngstown’s Austintown-Fitch High School. The Falcons had taken a 35-31 lead with 3:08 to play before Myers engineered the walk-off 80-yard touchdown drive. It was a record-breaking night for Myers, who became the all-time leader in passing touchdowns at McDowell High School with 48. James Zigler Jr. also broke the program record for receiving yards with 1,138. Myers threw a 97-yard touchdown to Kayden Dodds, which is believed to be the longest touchdown pass in program history. Myers completed 24-of-37 passes for 400 yards and four touchdowns. Zigler had five receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. McDowell trailed 21-14 at halftime, scoring on Myers’ 19-yard run and a 9-yard pass to Gavin Magorien. The Trojans also got a 28-yard field goal by Ashton Sontheimer and a 52-yard touchdown from Myers to Zigler.
Benedictine 42, Cathedral Prep 14
Cathedral Prep couldn’t keep pace with Benedictine as the Ramblers lost their third straight game. Prep opened the scoring on Davin Friedman’s 8-yard pass to Cam Spence. But the Bengals scored the next three touchdowns to take a 21-7 lead. The Ramblers tried to rally with Friedman’s 19-yard touchdown to Spence, but Benedictine again scored the next three touchdowns to put the game away.

Reynolds 43, Kennedy Catholic 8
The Raiders led 37-8 at halftime en route to a 43-8 victory over Kennedy Catholic Saturday afternoon. The Eagles started the game with only 11 players and were down to 10 after having a player ejected in the first quarter. Reynolds coach Josh Mull, out of respect, also chose to play the remainder of the game with ten players.
Seneca 42, Northwestern 8
The Bobcats got two rushing a piece from Rylan Harwood and Zach Moats, who ran for 29 and 69 yards to knockoff Northwestern Saturday afternoon. Harwood also completed 13-of-18 passes for 160 yards. Edan Lucas led Seneca with 79 yards and a touchdown on only two carries. Dominic Buscemi had five receptions for 98 yards. George Hoag also returned a fumble for a touchdown. Northwestern scored on a touchdown run by David White. Brody Bickenhouser ran for 89 yards and caught one pass for 23 yards to lead the Wildcats.
Sheffield 41, Union City 12
On what may end up being the last game on top of Wolverine Mountain. Colby Barr ran for 154 yards and three touchdowns to lead Sheffield. Barr scored on runs of six, 28, and 18 yards. Union City got two rushing touchdowns from Steven Klakamp, who ran for 127 yards on 19 carries. Klakamp scored both touchdowns in the second quarter on 23 and 4-yard runs. His 4-yard run pulled the Bears to within 14-12, but Union City could get no closer. Cire Brown-House added a 21-yard run on the first half’s final play, giving Sheffield a 22-12 lead. Barr added a 28-yard run in the third quarter before scoring on an 18-yard jaunt in the fourth. Ben Lindberg scored on a 2-yard run to close the scoring.
Oil City 62, Warren 0
Cole Findlay threw touchdowns, including two to De’Vaughn Griffin, to lead Oil City past Warren. Griffin opened the scoring with a punt return for a touchdown before adding scoring receptions of 46 and 79 yards. The Oilers led 49-0 at halftime. Findlay also threw a 12-yard touchdown to Gavin Stephens. Shia Sanchez scored on runs of six and five yards, while Matthew Plumber added a 33-yard scoring run. Dawan Cruz and Alex McIntyre ran second-half touchdowns for the Oilers. Ayden Corbett rushed for 12 yards for Warren, who managed only seven yards of offense.
