Mario Landino, Emmaus’ star defensive lineman follows head football coach Curt Cignetti and flips commitment from JMU to Indiana. Up until early December, Landino had firmly been a JMU commit since the end of June. However, with the departure of Cignetti from Harrisonburg, he re-opened his recruitment and quickly found a new home in Bloomington. The 6’4″ 260lb lineman who amassed 11 sacks and and 172 tackles in his career was a force to be reckoned with in the EPC during his time with Emmaus. Landino joins a re-energized Hoosier recruiting class which has turned some heads since Cignetti has taken over for the fired Tom Allen who had led the Hoosiers since 2017.
