Joshua Williams is a monmouth offensive lineman who stands out on the field. At 6-4 300lbs he’s hard to miss on the field. Luckily for The Haverford School Fords he has one more season of high school football left before he heads out west to start his college career. Before enrolling at Stanford he has his eyes set on winning another Inter-Ac championship as he did as a sophomore.
Monday afternoon Joshua announced that he is shutting down his recruitment and giving his verbal commitment to Stanford University. While Stanford is in California, due to their recent decision to leave the PAC 12 for the ACC Joshua will be able to play half of his college conference games on the east coast. At The Haverford School Joshua has not only excelled on the gridiron but he’s also excelled in the classroom sporting a 4.0 GPA while also being pretty good in track and field sporting a very impressive recorded time of 12.8 in the 100 yard meter dash. That athleticism isn’t something you see in offensive linemen and bodes well for his collegiate career.
