Some teams tend to heat up when it gets cold out, and tonight, the Seals were absolutely sizzling. 44-14 in a game they were never ahead by less than a Touchdown.

“Sloppy wins are still wins (as he chuckled). Credit to Juniata man, they came in swinging, but I feel like we were able to shut that down,” said Selinsgrove QB Mark Pastore. “We’ll savor this for what it is, but either way we have a big opponent coming up.”

The Indians received the opening kick and surrendered the ball almost immediately. Senior DB Caleb Hicks, stepped in front of a corner route, notching his first of 2 interceptions in the game. Mark Pastore cashed in from a yard out the following drive.(6-0 PAT no good, errant snap)

Setting up shop at their own 46 the Seals would need just four plays. The first being a Pastore to Bastian strike for a 41yd gain accompanied by a 2 yard Ethan miller TD at the 9:30 mark of quarter number 1.(PAT blocked). The Seals would force another three and out, scoring again on the ensuing drive via a Carter young 47 yard field goal. (16-0 seals 2:31 1st quarter.)

The  Indians would jump in on the scoring parade early in the 2nd, as Jasper Shepps would take a fake punt  52 yards to the house (16-6 Selinsgrove PAT blocked.) The Seals would notch another score before the half, as Tucker Teats would take a Mark Pastore crossing route 33 yards into the endzone. Sending us to half with the Seals up 23-6. The Indians would draw within 10 for one final time early in quarter number three, as Wyatt Ehrenzeller would hit Ethan Espitia over top of the Selinsgrove defense for a 20 yard score.( 2pt good 23-14 10:51 3rd.) The Seals got back in on the scoring around the 9:27 mark of quarter number three, making it 30-14 Seals following a 102 yd KR for a score from Tucker Teats  Carter Young PAT would be good. The Seals would force a Juniata 3 and out the next drive and make their way down the field exclusively via the run.  Ethan Miller would barrel in from 4 yards out with 11:27 to go. (37- 14 Seals.)  Wyatt Ehrenzeller would be picked off again the next drive and Mark Pastore would lead what ended up being the final scoring drive of the evening, as he would hit Gavin Bastian wide open in the end zone from 24 yds out.
