Redskin Notables: The Redskins head into their 4th conference clash looking to bounce back after dropping a tight one to Central Bucks West 21-10 last week. The Offense is averaging 21.5 points per game. Junior quarterback Mike Eckhart leads the Neshaminy passing attack by completing 60% of his passes for 669 yards, five touchdowns, and only one interception. Mike has also chipped in 117 yards on 31 attempts and three scores. The Skins’ rushing attack is comprised of a three-headed beast in sophomores Nahsir Moore (55-245-2 TDs), Brock Williams (34-167-3 TDs), and junior Jason Wilmot (31-155-3 TDs). The three have combined for 567 yards & eight touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Connor Frederick leads the team in receptions (17) and yards (155). He has also hauled in three touchdowns. Pennridge Rams

Head Coach: Kyle Beller (2nd Season)

League: Suburban One League-National Conference (6A)

Season Record: (4-2) overall (2-1) Conference

Last Week: Won 47-0 over Abington

Ram Notables: The Rams are one game ahead of their win total from a season ago with four games remaining, and their defense is flying high after they dropped a goose egg on Abington 47-0. If the season ended today, the Rams would be the 8th seed in the District One 6A playoffs ahead of Neshaminy by only three points, so this win is critical if the Rams want to keep their playoff aspirations alive. Junior quarterback Noah Keating leads the passing attack with a 67.4 completion percentage for 761 yards. He has thrown ten touchdowns with only three interceptions.   Noah is also third on the team in rushing with 166 yards on 39 attempts and a score. Juniors William Dougherty (73-394- 4 TDs) & Ryan Rowe (68-316-3 TDs) have combined for 710 yards and seven touchdowns on 141 carries, a respectable 5.03 yards per carry. The offense is currently averaging 22.7 points per game. Senior wide receiver Zach Swanson has a team-high 214 yards on eight catches, a whopping 26.8 yards per catch to go along with four touchdown catches. Senior Chase Marshall is second on the team with 210 yards on a team-high 19 receptions and two scores. Junior Chase Clontz rounds out the receiving corps with 12 catches for 99 yards and a score. On the other side of the ball, Senior Trevor Fuhs leads all tacklers with 53 total tackles. Junior Ryan Rowe is second on the team with 51, and junior Chase Marshall and sophomore Brady Blomgren are tied for fourth with 31 total tackles each. Fuhs also leads the team in tackles for loss (TFL) with eight, while Rowe is second with 5.5. William Dougherty leads the team in sacks with 2.5, and junior Ian Gallagher is second with 2. Six other players all have one.   Chase Marshall leads all defenders with two interceptions, while Carter Fuhs, Trevor Fuhs, and Chase Clontz have one.  The defense is yielding 18.5 points per game though is coming off a shutout victory. My student-athlete from Pennridge this week is Noah Keating.
