Nazareth Turns To Ground Game in Victory Over Liberty.

Bethlehem- Saturday night at Bethlehem School District Stadium, Nazareth head coach Tom Falzone had his chages put aside his high-flying offense for one night and instead used a potent ground game against Bethlehem iberbty behind running back Tyler Rohn and a gutsy 17-win before a boisterous crowd on a gorgeous fall evening.

Rohn, rushed tallied 26 carries for 132 had fought yards and one trip to the end zone in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference South contest. In all the Blue Eagle offense picked up nearly 250 yards and 55 rushes.

“It definitely wasn’t pretty, it hasn’t been our tendency like what you have accustomed to but it was a win and we’ll take it.” Coach Falzone stated.

The defense pitched a shutout as the only Hurricane score came on a Kyndred Wright 24 yard interception return.

Rohn and quarterback Sonny Sasso both had two 2 yard scores in the contest. Chris Bugbee added a 34 yard field goal in the fourth quarter to ensure the win.

Nazareth(4-2) will host 4-2 Allentown Central Catholic next wee, The Vikings fell hard to Bethlehem Freedom 42-7 Friday night. Liberty(1-5) will be back at BASD Stadium hosting the 5-1 Emmaus Green Hornets.
