Khiryn Boyd (First Team), Daniel Sellers (First Team), Anthony Speca (First Team), Peter Gonzalez (Second Team), Tanner Fuchs (Second Team), Cameron Chmura (Second Team), Tyree Alualu (Second Team), and Evan Lyon (Second Team) were all the WPIAL players named to the PFN Coaches-Select Class 6A All-State Team.

All eight of the players on the 6A All-State Team are either from the North Allegheny Tigers or Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings. The 6A Coach of the Year, Art Walker, also comes from North Allegheny.

Walker led the Tigers to a 13-2 overall season (including playoffs), losses coming to Pittsburgh Central Catholic in the regular season, and later beating them in the WPIAL championship, and then St. Joseph’s Prep in the State Championship game.

Khiryn Boyd, an overall offensive threat for the Tigers, this season had 21 receptions, he had 513 receiving yards this season while having 8 receiving touchdowns and adding two more rushing touchdowns for a total of 10 touchdowns on the season.

Sellers, a tight end for the Tigers, finished the season with 162 receiving yards, alongside one touchdown, but blocked a lot better than his statistics show for the Tiger’s run game.

Chmura, both an offensive and defensive tackle for North Allegheny, finished the season with 18 total tackles on defense, and 3 tackles for loss. Helping out the Tiger’s defense, Chmura helped out the offense in a big way of blocking.

Tyree Aluala is an all-around athlete when it comes to playing for the Tigers. He finished the season with 580 rushing yards on 60 attempts and 9 total touchdowns, through 9 games.

Lyon, a safety for North Allegheny, helped out big time in the secondary. Finishing his season with 3 interceptions through nine games and 19 tackles with 16 of them being solo tackles.

Pittsburgh Central Catholic had three players cut PA Sportswriters Class 6A All-State Team.

Anthony Speca, an MLB for the Vikings, finished the season with 94 total tackles through 12 games played, with 5 sacks and 17 tackles for loss.

Peter Gonzalez led the Tri-County Five in receiving yards with 1081 through 11 games. Scoring 12 touchdowns, with 47 receptions.

Tanner Fuchs is a 6-1, 275-pound offensive lineman, who led the Vikings offensive line throughout their run game and pass rush.
