How they got here:

Valley View defeated Berwick in the quarterfinals and Wyoming Area in the semifinals to advance to the Championship game.

Dallas defeated Wallenpaupack in the District Quarterfinals and advanced to the District Finals with a win over Nanticoke.

About Dallas: The Mountaineers are 12-0 and are in their first District Final since 2020. Junior quarterback Brady Zapoticky has 1,528 passing yards with 21 touchdowns. He also has 10 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown this season. Junior running back Dylan Geskey has 1,258 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns. Senior wideout Zach Paczewski has 42 catches for 868 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year. Dallas defense has an impressive amount of interceptions on the season. Junior Gavin Lewis has six interceptions on the season. Nate Malarkey and Lucas Tirpak each have 4. Mike Lewis has two picks. Zach Paczewski and Dylan Geskey each have an interception. The Mountaineers are looking for their first District Championship since 2019. Dallas lost to Valley View in the District Semifinals last season. Can the Mountaineers balanced offense give them another District Championship?

About Valley View: The Cougars enter the District Final with a 10-2 mark and are in their third straight District Final. Senior running back Camryn Higgins is rushing for 1,386 yards and 12 touchdowns. Senior Domenic Memo threw for 221 yards and a touchdown this season. Memo also has four rushing touchdowns on the season. Wideout Christopher Savkov has caught 27 passes for 433 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, Savkov and Nick Kucharski lead the team in interceptions with three. Aidan Smith also has an interception. Valley View is looking for their first District Championship since 2021 and their fourth since 2017. Coming into this season, the Cougars replaced their head coach and several starters from last year’s team that lost to Crestwood in the Finals last season. Can Valley View get the District Championship on the road?
