Schuylkill Haven Makes Strong Statement in Scrimmage Against Biglerville

Schuylkill Haven began their season with a scrimmage against Biglerville. The Hurricanes dominated from start to end in this 10-possession-style scrimmage against the Canners. Haven’s new quarterback Augustus Warke showcased his arm as he connected with his receivers Travis Richie and Leyden Hertz. Running backs Niko Carestia, Aiden Myers, and newcomer Colton Reber all got in on the action, scoring multiple touchdowns each. Not only was the Hurricane offense successful, but so was their defense. Logan Carl and Niko Castillo had deflections and interceptions throughout Saturday’s contest. Chase Williams and Wyatt Keefer led the battle on the defensive line.

Head coach Mike Farr and his Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes will start their season off against the Marian Colts at Men of Marian Stadium on Friday, August 25th.
