On Friday night, the Washington Prexies beat the Waynesburg-Central Raiders by a score of 48-14. Prexies Junior running back Eddie Lewis had a field day against the Raiders defense, running for four touchdowns.
Early on, it looked like Waynesburg could go toe to toe with the Prexies, as senior linebacker Colby Pauley intercepted a pass and ran it back to the one yard line. Waynesburg-Central turned this interception into a touchdown, but this would be the last Raider touchdown until late in the fourth quarter.
At the end of the first quarter, Washington led 12-7.

“I was most impressed with our offensive line tonight,” said Prexies Head Coach Mike Bosnic after his team’s victory. The Prexies remain undefeated at 6-0, and they take on Sto-Rox next week at home. Waynesburg-Central drops their second straight to put them at 4-2, as they will travel to Brentwood next week to take on the Spartans.
