The Westinghouse Bulldogs defeated the Beaver Falls Tigers on Friday night with a final score of 28-8.
The Bulldogs were led by their defense only allowing eight points and the five fourth down stops, two of which were inside the 20-yard line.
The game opened up with an almost six-minute drive by Beaver Falls, but Westinghouse would stop them and get a turnover on downs.
The Bulldogs only needed three plays after that to score the first TD and two-point conversion.

However, Beaver Falls retaliated with a scoring drive of their own. It was Kadin Brickner finding Michael Blackshear for the 40+ yard touchdown. The Tigers would convert their two-point conversion and tied the game at eight. This would be the last time the Tigers found the endzone.

Westinghouse QB Khalil Green would help put together a productive drive, resulting in himself running it in for the 29-yard TD. Westinghouse then led 15-8.
The Bulldogs again had a 4th down stop, and took the lead into halftime.
Westinghouse received the opening kick, and two plays into the new half the Bulldogs fumbled the football giving the Tigers great starting field position. However, for the fourth time in the night Westinghouse stopped Beaver Falls and this time inside the 10-yard line.
It remained back and forth until 8:07 remaining in the fourth quarter when the Bulldogs found the endzone again. This one was Green passing it to K-Shawn Hawkins to extend their lead, making it 22-8.
Westinghouse scored one more time before the game finished and would win to advance to the PIAA 2A State Championship for the second straight year. They will face Southern Columbia on Friday December 8th.
