Spartans seek fifth straight District III Championship next weekend.
WYOMISSING- Another Saturday playoff game at Bob Wolfrum Field and another victory for the Spartans at home, their nineteenth straight under the legendary coach, for whom the field is named for. This time the victim was the Panthers of Schuylkill Valley to the tune of 48-0 in the District II 3A Semifinal.
The Spartans jumped out to a quick 20-0 lead in the opening twelve minutes and never looked back. Sophomore fullback Chase Eisenhower got the scoring barrage started with an eleven yard score at the 7:20 mark on the Spartans first possession after holding the Panthers to a 3-and out to start the game.

Schuylkill Valley then started their second drive deep in their own territory. QB Logan Nawrocki was forced to scramble to his right near the goal line and in desperation mode tried to throw back to his left, but Collin Niedrowski stepped in front of the receiver and picked off the pass and waltzed in from seven yards out to make it 14-0 at the 6:24 mark.
Running back Ryker Jones, then found his way in for a six-pointer from 30 yards out with 1:57 still left on the clock in the first quarter. Jones finished with 50 yards in the contest. The game was getting away quickly on the Panthers!

The Wyomissing defense kept the visitors off the scoreboard by limiting the Panthers to just 54 yards passing and 23 yards rushing and seven first downs total.
After a long pass from Logan Hyde to Justice Hardy that covered 37 yards made it 34-0 as the teams headed for the locker room at halftime with the score 34-0. The dive covered 84 yards on four plays and used under a minute to complete.
