Donnell HendersonWho is your favorite sports star and why?
My favorite sports star is Jamal Adams. He is one of the best young safeties in the game. They way he plays the game and his athleticism is one of the craziest. He’s high flying to the ball and has great coverage skills.
Why do you play football?
I was introduced to the game at the age of 6. After a few years of playing I was like wow I can have a future in this sport. Since then I’ve worked my butt off to get where I’m st today. I’m very blessed to be where I am today and play the best sport in the world.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
The Blindside would be my movie. That I think was the best movie that came out when I was a kid. To see what Michael Orr has to go through was crazy.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
They are cheering, of course, as they always are. They are very supportive of my dreams and know why I play the sport. Hopefully I can play on the collegiate level and one day hopefully make the pros.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I will usually just hang with my friends and family.
