Free Football Clinic to be held before Big 33 Game

PENNSYLVANIA SCHOLASTIC FOOTBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION AND USA FOOTBALL

TO HOST FIRST DOWN CLINICS AT BIG 33 CLASSIC

INDIANAPOLIS – In partnership with USA Football, the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association (PSFCA) announced today it will host free First Down Clinics on Monday, May 27 at Landis Field-Dauphin Middle School in Harrisburg, Pa. prior to the kickoff of the 62nd PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic. The three 40-minute clinics are at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET. Check-in will start 30 minutes prior to each clinic.

Sponsored by ESPN, these events, part of USA Football’s First Down initiative, introduce children to the fun and fitness of football by teaching the basic skills of running, jumping, passing and catching in an upbeat, dynamic environment.

First Down skills and drills are aligned with USA Football’s Football Development Model, a forward-thinking framework for children to learn the sport in a developmentally-appropriate manner and fun atmosphere. Each participant also will receive a free t-shirt.

Clinic participants and their families are encouraged to stay on-site and enjoy the 62nd PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic. Featuring the top high school football players in Pennsylvania, the Big 33 Classic kicks off at 2 p.m. ET at Landis Field. This year marks the sixth game in the series between Pennsylvania and Maryland. Tickets can be purchased here.

KeystoneFootballRecruits.com will be in attendance to evaluate players.
