Imhotep defensive end Khalif Kemp staying home, committed to Temple @Lifkemp24 @TepFootball

Khalif Kemp had some big time offers. Ole Miss, Kansas, UMass , Indiana, Bowling Green, Tennessee, Akron. All very impressive offers. But one this they don’t have is Kemps commitment. That belongs to Temple. The incoming senior for Imhotep committed to coach Rod Careys Owls yesterday.  We asked him about his decision:

PFN: How long have you played football? *
since I was 5

PFN: Who was your biggest influence there. , who recruited you? *
Not really had an influence , just chance to put my city on my back, coach Stewart recruited me

PFN: What are they getting in player like you? *
Athletic freak, self motivated, hard working, Dawg

PFN: What was the recruiting process like for you? *
It was shook up a little when i didn’t play my junior season , coaches didn’t get to see any junior film and I like that temple took the chance on me after knowing I did not play

PFN: What was your reason for committing early? *
Decision was very Clear

PFN: What position were you recruited for? *
Defensive End / Outside linebacker

PFN: Do you know what you’d like to study? *
I do not

PFN: What role did your parents play in your decision? *
They really don’t want me to go far, they gave me knowledge through the entire process

PFN: What do you think is the most exciting thing about the program? *
You can Grill your own burgers

PFN: What are you most looking forward to while playing for them? *
I’m looking to develop myself into an Elite edge player

PFN: Tell everyone out there in the football world something they’d never know about you until you told them: *
I gained 40-50 pounds in a year while getting faster

PFN: Who is the person who most influenced you in your football career? *
My father
