The South Fayette Lions traveled down to Trinity to take on the Trinity Hillers .

It would prove to be an interesting game for the Hillers because for the 2nd straight week they would be without starting quarterback Owen Samogala who has been out with a concussion.

The Hillers would have to rely on backup quarterbacks Brady Layhue and Jake Schreyer to eat the offense with most of the workload going through running back Owen Gardner.

Th game would start out slow between both teams with no score being up in the first quarter. Trinity would have a chance to  get some points on the board but the field goal attempt was tipped and went no good.

Trinity would stop the lions have another chance to score but multiple flags would put them out of field goal range , This would be the story of the game for the Hillers.

with about 6:15 remaining in the 2nd quarter South Fayette running back Aayden Wright would break past the Trinity defense for a 70 yard sprint to put the Lions up 7-0 nearing the end of the quarter

Not much would happened until after halftime until South Fayette quarterback Braeden Plasko would take a 4th and 1 qb sneak and sneak all the way to the end zone to put the Lions up 14-0

The hillers defence  would cause and interception and a fumble but the offense couldn’t do much with and gave the ball right back to the Lions. Plasko would connect with Dylan Monz for a deep ball touchdown to extend the lead with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

The hillers would once punt and the Lions would kneel the clock out and give South Fayette the win!

Lions improve to 4-0 while the Hillers drop to 2-2.
