Southern Columbia tight end Jace Malakoski has announced his commitment to Stonehill College. Malakoski had recieved offers frrom several other schools like Wheeling State and Lock Haven before deciding on Stonehill College, a Division 1 school in the FCS’s Northeast conference.

Malakoski, listed at 6 foot 3 and 215 pounds, is currently in the middle of his senior season with Southern Columbia, and is also coming off of a 2A state championship with the Tigers in 2025. Malakoski has won two state championships in his time with Southern Columbia, and is currently chasing a third. He has not only been one of the best pass catching tight end’s in Southern Columbia’s history, but has also been a vital part in the Tigers’ run game in all four seasons that he has played. Malakoski also currently has a 4.0 GPA in high school, and he has also starred in both basketball and track. He has also earned All-State tight end honors, along with being named District 4’s top tight end a season ago, racking up 19 receptions for 344 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. So far this season, he has hauled in 15 passes for 188 yards and 6 touchdowns, as the Tigers currently sit at a 5-1 record.
