Southern Lehigh Posts Back-to-Back Shutouts with Win Over Lehighton (Photo Gallery)

Southern Lehigh has defeated Lehighton 35-0 in a matchup between two unbeaten teams and have handed the Indians their first loss of the season. Lehighton would start off with some trickery in their first drive pulling off a successful fake punt, but would still end up short later in the drive, after that Southern Lehigh took control the rest of the way. The Spartan defense helped lead the way for the Spartan offense to thrive on the other end of the field as quarterback Colton Sams would put up 3 touchdowns on the night, completing them to Jack Pavis, Otto Young, and Tanner Traub, and Jack MoDavis would take over on the ground putting up 2 rushing touchdowns and a 2-pt conversion himself to elevate the Southern Lehigh offense. The Spartans get their 3rd shutout of the season and move on to 5-0 on the year; next week they hit the road to take on Saucon Valley looking to continue their success.
