The Kennett Blue Devils defeated The Abington Ghosts

Friday night Abington traveled all the way to Kennett square to play the Kennett Blue Devils in football. but in the end, it was an unfortunate loss for Abington the Kennett blue devils won 28-0 with 3 touchdowns and 3 extra points.

Despite the loss, we saw several players stand out from Abington football. First off was senior No. 4 Caleb Smith, who recently switched positions going from a wide receiver to a quarterback. Many coaches told me that even with such a big change that he learned to embrace it and fit well in that role.

Second player was No. 41 senior captain Kia Taylor who also stood out. As Kennett began to score Taylor made sure the team still put in their best effort. And we saw some great plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the game.

Even with an opening season lost for the Abington Ghosts, With the work they are going to put in this season, I hope to see a win for the Ghost next week against Norristown as they defend there home field.
