General McLane 35, Warren 0
Charlie Bennett ran for 177 yards on 16 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns as General McLane beat Warren 35-0 Thursday night to improve to 3-0 on the season. Josh Caro completed 6-of-15 passes for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Donny Burke. Marcus Geiser, who ran for 56 yards, also scored a rushing touchdown for the Lancers, who led 28-0 at halftime. Warren got 39 passing yards from Parker Kiser and 29 rushing yards from Aidan Eger.

McDowell 21, Garfield Heights 20 – OT
An extra point proved to be the difference for McDowell as the Trojans outlasted Garfield Heights in a thrilling overtime battle. After Garfield Heights found the end zone in the extra period but failed to convert their point-after attempt, McDowell answered in kind. Trojan standout Evan Kuhn delivered late-game heroics for the second consecutive week, breaking loose for a 10-yard touchdown run in overtime to tie the game. Kicker Joey Clark then stepped up and drilled the walk-off PAT, sealing the dramatic victory for the Trojans. The overtime shootout stood in stark contrast to a grinding second half. Both defenses clamped down after halftime, battling to a scoreless stalemate through the third and fourth quarters after entering the break tied 14-14.McDowell opened the scoring late in the first quarter when Kuhn showcased his versatility, tossing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Lincoln with 3:39 remaining in the period. Garfield Heights responded, but the Trojans struck again in the second quarter on a powerful 1-yard touchdown plunge by Ju’el Heidelbert. The nail-biting finish is becoming familiar territory for McDowell. Just last week, Kuhn rescued the Trojans against Chardon, scoring a game-winning 11-yard touchdown run with only 44 seconds left on the clock.
Cathedral Prep 49, Erie 7
Cathedral Prep scored 49 unanswered points to defeat Erie High 49-7 and improve to 3-0. DaZaire Carson and Sawyer Whitney powered the Rambler offense, finding the end zone three times apiece in a dominant display. Erie High struck first and fast on the game’s opening play from scrimmage, connecting on a 73-yard touchdown pass to take a brief 7-6 lead after Carson had opened the scoring for Prep with a 20-yard run. Carson found the end zone just seconds into the second quarter, hauling in a 31-yard touchdown pass from Broegan McCarthy to put the Ramblers ahead for good at 14-7. Whitney followed with an 11-yard scoring run, and Carson broke away for a 69-yard touchdown sprint to push the margin to 28-7. Whitney added another rushing score late in the half to stretch the advantage to 35-7 by the break. Whitney capped his standout night in the third quarter with a 28-yard touchdown run, activating the mercy rule clock.
Lakeview 28, Moniteau 20
A dramatic fourth-and-goal stand in the final minutes allowed Lakeview to hold off Moniteau, 28-20, punctuating another standout performance by freshman quarterback Luke Johnson. Johnson carried the Sailors on his back, throwing for 263 yards and four touchdowns. With the game deadlocked at 20-20 late in the fourth quarter, Johnson delivered the game-winning play, launching a 34-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Doyle with 7:06 remaining. Johnson then punched in the two-point conversion himself to establish an eight-point cushion. Moniteau mounted a furious ensuing drive, threatening to tie the game, but the resilient Lakeview defense stood tall at the goal line to preserve their second victory of the season. The thrilling finish capped a game defined by major momentum swings. Moniteau jumped out to a fast 13-0 lead in the opening quarter behind the arm of quarterback Weston Cook. Cook threw a 65-yard touchdown to Liam Allison, following it up minutes later with a 9-yard scoring strike to Kayne Scott with 4:07 left in the period. Lakeview clawed back before intermission. Johnson put the Sailors on the board with a 32-yard touchdown strike to Austin Toth with 2:46 left in the second quarter. After the defense forced a quick stop, Johnson orchestrated a rapid two-minute drill, finding Doyle for a 50-yard touchdown aerial just before the halftime whistle to narrow the deficit to 13-12. Moniteau extended its lead to 20-12 late in the third quarter when Scott scooped up a Lakeview fumble and raced 50 yards down the sideline for a defensive score. Unfazed, Johnson answered with 1:59 left in the frame, targeting Ethan Johnson for a 25-yard touchdown before firing a game-tying two-point conversion pass to Karson Mathieson. Toth anchored the Lakeview receiving corps, hauling in four catches for 105 yards and a score, while Doyle proved highly efficient with three receptions for 84 yards and two critical touchdowns. For Moniteau, Cook finished 8-of-18 passing for 149 yards and two scores, while Allison proved to be a versatile weapon, catching two passes for 75 yards and grinding out 59 yards on 19 carries on the ground.
Farrell 84, Reynolds 0
A pair of early defensive touchdowns jump-started a relentless blowout as Farrell cruised to an 84-0 rout of Reynolds. The Steelers wasted no time turning the game into a defensive showcase on the Raiders’ very first possession. Dorean Cain ignited the evening’s scoring by intercepting a pass and returning it 70 yards into the end zone. Minutes later, the defense struck again when D’Mar Russell broke through the line, forced a fumble, scooped up the ball, and raced 58 yards down the sideline for a stunning scoop-and-score to quickly break the game wide open. Farrell’s high-octane offense was just as lethal. Quarterback Aaron Pegues masterfully orchestrated the aerial attack, linking up with Timmy Jackson for a first-quarter touchdown strike to extend the cushion. That opening salvo would prove to be the first of two touchdown tosses on the night for Pegues, fueling an unprecedented offensive surge that kept the scoreboard spinning through four full quarters.
Greenville 58, Sharpsville 7
Cael Thurber threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two more, guiding Greenville to a 58-7 victory over Sharpsville. Thurber opened the scoring with a 6-yard touchdown keeper. He connected with Keith Covert on an 11-yard touchdown pass and followed it up with a 45-yard scoring strike to Justin Schell; Greenville led 21-0 after a quarter. Sharpsville scored in the second quarter when Geno Currie punched in a 1-yard touchdown run with 8:34 remaining in the half. Kyle McGirr, who led the Trojans’ ground game with a team-high 109 rushing yards on 11 carries, added a 6-yard touchdown to push the margin to 29-7 at the half. Thurber and Hunter Emrich each found the end zone on a pair of 4-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter. Swayze Walker broke loose for a 55-yard touchdown sprint, and Colton Godfrey put the finishing touches with a 12-yard touchdown run. Thurber completed 7 of 10 passes for 97 yards while adding 84 rushing yards on seven carries. Schell caught four passes for 60 yards.
Cambridge Springs 26, Seneca 19
Wyatt Keem scored a pair of crucial second-half touchdowns to lift Cambridge Springs to a hard-fought 26-19 victory over Seneca. Keem ran for 177 yards on 30 carries. After a tight battle early on, the two teams traded heavy blows in the second half. Keem gave the Blue Devils the initial spark, breaking through for a touchdown run to put Cambridge Springs ahead. The Bobcats responded immediately when quarterback Dalton Boyd launched a long touchdown pass to Donovan Huzinec, answering the score and leveling the field. However, Keem and the Cambridge Springs offense would not be denied. In the fourth quarter, Keem capped off a physical drive by powering into the end zone on a 2-yard touchdown to regain a 26-19 lead.
Maplewood 33, Cochranton 22
Mason Potosky turned in another stellar performance on the ground, rushing for 137 yards and three touchdowns to lead Maplewood to a 33-22 victory over Cochranton. The Tigers controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, building a 15-0 lead by halftime behind a punishing rushing attack. Kyle Jordan churned out 87 yards on 14 carries and added two touchdowns of his own. Jordan added a 30-yard reception.
Iroquois 28, Union City 14
Iroquois erupted for 14 unanswered points in the second half to break a deadlocked contest and secure a hard-fought 28-14 victory over Union City. The Bears’ Garrett Miller punched in a short touchdown run, capping a gritty drive to tie the score at 14-14. The Braves wasted no time responding. Iroquois answered almost immediately on its next possession, as quarterback Chase Cocolin executed a flawless drive before connecting with Jy’sere Wayne on a precise 6-yard touchdown strike. The aerial score put Iroquois up for good, and the Braves’ defense held firm for the remainder of the half to seal the win.
Mercyhurst Prep 56, Saegertown 14
Vinny Feliciano scored three touchdowns and wasted no time setting the tone, breaking loose for a 41-yard touchdown run to open the scoring as the Lakers never looked back in a commanding rout of the Panthers. Lakers quarterback Everett Cotterill orchestrated the high-powered offense alongside Feliciano. Cotterill padded the lead in the first half with a shifty 3-yard touchdown run before dialing up the deep ball later in the contest, hitting Feliciano in stride for an explosive 55-yard scoring strike to cap off Feliciano’s brilliant three-touchdown performance.
Corry 35, Eisenhower 0
A 75-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Connor Sterling broke the game open, as Corry blanked Eisenhower, 35-0. Trailing 14-0, the Knights had driven deep into Beavers’ territory following a 40-yard screen pass from Joe Gigliotti to Nolan Gesing. On the very next snap, the resilient Corry defense punched the football free, allowing Sterling to scoop up the loose ball and race 75 yards down the sideline to paydirt. Jack Vanchieri threw a 78-yard touchdown to Owen Albers. Albers added a 14-yard touchdown run, giving the Beavers a 21-0 halftime lead. Deion Canady scored on a 2-yard touchdown run, and Vanchieri later scored on a 53-yard touchdown run. Vanchieri completed 9 of 12 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown while adding 63 yards and a score on five carries. Albers ran for 59 yards and a touchdown to go along with his 78-yard receiving score. Gesing paced the Knights with 61 rushing yards on 12 carries and hauled in three receptions for 76 yards. Gigliotti finished the night 9-of-15 passing for 140 yards while fighting for 41 tough rushing yards on 17 carries. Collin Havers added 52 yards on 14 rushes, and Ollie Boozer anchored the short passing game with five receptions for 49 yards.
North East 48, Northwestern 0
Bryson Galloway accounted for five touchdowns to propel the North East to a dominant 48-0 victory over Northwestern. Galloway was nearly flawless through the air, completing 12-of-15 passes for 180 yards and four touchdowns. He proved equally lethal on the ground, carving up the Wildcats’ defense for 163 rushing yards. A spectacular 98-yard touchdown run highlighted his night. The senior signal-caller found plenty of support from his dynamic receiving corps. JJ Wittman served as Galloway’s favorite target, hauling in nine receptions for 87 yards and two scores. Dillen Rodges maximized his touches, turning his two catches into 58 yards and two touchdowns. Ethen Ringer anchored the ground game, grinding out 76 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Receiver Andrew Merritt led the Wildcats, providing a bright spot in defeat with nine catches for 52 yards.
Fairview 39, Girard 7
Cullen O’Connor completed 17 of 19 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown, while Caden Oldach ran for 131 yards and a touchdown to lead the Tigers to a 39-7 victory over Girard. Joey O’Reilly, who ran for 9 yards on three carries, scored three rushing touchdowns for Fairview. Dylan Hill caught a 24-yard touchdown pass from O’Connor, while Javis Nesbitt led all receivers with six grabs for 86 yards.
Fort LeBoeuf 63, Conneaut 13
Dominic Walters threw three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Bison in a dominant 63-13 rout of Conneaut. The Bison led 21-0 after a quarter; Walters opened the scoring by connecting with Giovanni Bartone for an 8-yard touchdown pass before calling his own number on a 30-yard scamper to extend the lead. Running back Xavier Blose capped the first quarter with a 6-yard touchdown run. Conneaut got on the board when Dominic Wolfwrath hooked up with Andrew Preston for an 8-yard touchdown pass, cutting the deficit to 21-6. Fort LeBoeuf responded with Aiden Struchen powered in from two yards out, and Walters followed with a pair of touchdown tosses: a 7-yard touchdown pass back to Bartone and a 13-yard score to Hunter Huck. The Bison led 42-6 at halftime. Fort LeBoeuf forced a running clock for the entire second half. Struchen added his second 2-yard touchdown run of the night.

Sharon 41, Oil City 19
Sharon picked up its first win of the season, defeating Oil City 41-19 behind a 246-yard, four-touchdown performance from Marius Best. The Tigers set the tone early when Ghafir Lampkins and Cash Hosey connected on a 63-yard touchdown pass with 4:16 remaining in the first quarter to break the ice at 7-0. Best quickly doubled the advantage before the period closed, scoring on a 34-yard run to push the lead to 13-0. After Oil City managed to answer and narrow the gap to 13-6, Best struck again with a brilliant 61-yard breakaway run, sending Sharon into the halftime locker room ahead 20-6. Best added a 46-yard touchdown burst midway through the third quarter, and Lampkins punched in a 1-yard keeper on the first play of the fourth to stretch the margin to a commanding 34-6. Though Oil City mounted a late response, Best put an exclamation point on his night with a 59-yard house call with 4:36 left on the clock.
Slippery Rock 47, Titusville 14
Slippery Rock put together another explosive offensive performance Friday night at Troy-Alan Stadium, rolling past Titusville 47-14. Aden Shay had a four-touchdown performance, rushing for 193 yards and three scores on 11 carries while adding 119 receiving yards and another touchdown. Quarterback Jon Petras completed 8-of-12 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns. Titusville struck first when Hunter Martin connected with Chase Harrison on a 44-yard touchdown pass to take an early 7-0 lead. But the Rockets answered immediately as Petras launched a 71-yard touchdown strike to Peyton Reich. Slippery Rock erupted for 27 points in the second quarter to build a commanding 34-7 halftime lead. Shay added touchdown runs of 70 and 97 yards, Logan Schlobohm hauled in a 24-yard scoring pass, and Shay punched in a 5-yard run just before the break. Petras connected with Schlobohm again for a 71-yard touchdown strike, and Shay put a bizarre exclamation point on his historic night with an 87-yard touchdown reception after the ball ricocheted off a Titusville defender’s helmet and landed right in his hands.
Butler 23, Meadville 0
Meadville’s defense put up another gritty performance, but the offense could not find any traction as the Bulldogs fell 23-0 to Butler in a tough defensive struggle. While Meadville’s defense fought hard to keep things close, Butler’s defense and special teams slammed the door shut, highlighted by a game-changing interception return for a touchdown by Deacon Simko. The Golden Tornado also manufactured the game’s biggest offensive sparks. Quarterback Will Dunaway struck through the air with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Nicco Baggetta, and running back Kevin Shriver delivered a back-breaking highlight with an 87-yard touchdown sprint. Kicker AJ Morris added a 34-yard field goal to cap the scoring and lock down the shutout victory for Butler.

Wilmington 72, Mercer 0
Wilmington got four touchdowns from Cael Kettering and three scores from Chase Mitcheltree. Cael Kettering scored on runs of 12, 14, and 29 yards in the first quarter, while Mitcheltree added a 35-yard touchdown. Mitcheltree added scoring runs of 12 and 68 yards. The Greyhounds led 58-0 at halftime. Chase Mitcheltree ran for 172 yards on eight carries. Kettering scored his fourth and final touchdown of the day on a 10-yard run in the third quarter. Mason McClelland capped off the scoring showcase in the fourth quarter, breaking loose for a 27-yard touchdown run.
