District 12 lands 8 players on the 5A All State Writers Team

Imhotep Sr. LB Semaj Bridgeman

District 12 is very well represented on the 5A All State Writers team as 8 players between 3 teams (Roman, Imhotep & Wood) have been honored. On the offensive team Imhotep So. RB Jabree Wallace-Coleman who led the Panthers offense in rushing was honored for the first time. Making his second appearance on the All-State team is Roman Jr. WR Tyseer Denmark who led the Cahillites in receiving yards (958) & TD receptions (8). On the defensive side Roman Sr. DL Jamieal Lyons (Penn State) who led the Cahillites with 68 tackles & 5 sacks was honored along with fellow linemate Jason Patterson (Duquesne) who registered 60 tackles & 9 sacks. Sr. LB Jordan Montgomery (Temple) is the last Cahillite honored as he finished the season with 63 tackles, 2 interceptions & 4 sacks. Imhotep was represented by Sr. LB Semaj Bridgeman (Michigan) & Jr. CB Kenneth Woseley. Lastly but not least Archbishop Wood Sr. TE Markus Dixon (Clemson) was honored after posting 15 receptions for 284 yards & 3 TDs.
