The nightcap of my football doubleheader took me to Fremont, Ohio. For some odd reason, I do not venture to this part of the state as often as I always plan to. This was my first trip to Don Paul Stadium and the first time seeing Fremont Ross play. The stadium especially the home side stands are awesome. The only downside is parking was all street parking and like to many high school stadiums, the best seats on the home side were reserved. This was game number 20 for me this season, and so far it was by far the best game I have taken in. Rosters are from Digital Scout and Hudl, so let’s hope for the best. TSJ has multiple players with the same number, so if I guess wrong feel free to message me on Twitter with correction.

The Titans have A beat at running back by the name Carson Toth and he wasted no time showing his talents when he took off on an Emmitt Smith like run totally 25 yards. From there Brady Lichtenberg found one of the best receivers I have seen this year, Braden DeGroff for 26-yards. The 63-yard drive ended on A 26-yard field goal by Ethan Fulkerson giving the Titans the 3-0 lead, with 7:55 left in the opening quarter. The Titans were back at it, with 5:21 left in the quarter, with Joey Amend hauling in A pass for A gain of nearly 15-yards. This drive ended on A 39-yard run by Carson (THE BEAST) Toth to make this A 9-0 game. The Titans defense got the next big play when Darrell Cross got to Jonathan Szymanowski for a 4-yard loss. The Little Giants offense finally got something going with A 33-yard pass from Kaden Holmes to Szymanowski. Holmes, the Ross quarterback runs like Barry Sanders and with 2:28 left in the fast-paced opening quarter, he went 5-yards for the Little Giants first score. The P.A.T. off of the foot of Carlos Pena gave us A 9-7 score. The last big play of the quarter came from the Little Giants, Marcus Peters and that was A 6-yard sack of Lichtenberg.

Lichtenberg would be sacked at the 10:40 mark of the 2nd quarter when he could not get away from Ethan Green. The Little Giants would keep Uncle Mo. on their side after their defense got the offense the ball back. Spencer Price hauled in A pass from Holmes taking it 62-yards for a touchdown, after the point after the home team had the 14-9 lead, with 9:56 left in the half.
The Beast went off on A powerful 51-yard run to get the Titans offense going. Then Tommy Gallagher made A diving catch to the Little Giants 1-yard line. From there THE PAFOOTBALLNEWS PLAYER OF THE GAME CARSON (THE BEAST) TOTH roared in for the score. The P.A.T. by Ethan Fulkerson made this A 16-14 contest. Holmes would pick up 22-yards off of A quarterback draw. Labronze Barnett ended the drive, with a 5-yard touchdown catch with the P.A.T. we now had A 21-16 score. Braden de Groff made two catches on the next TSJ drive, with one being A Jerry Rice type diving catch. Bryson Hammer ended any hopes of the drive continuing when he made A leaping interception to give the Litlle Giants the ball back, with 1:37 left in the half. Holmes would add 20-yards to his stats, with another breathtaking run. He then picked up 17-yards with his feet, with 3.2 seconds left in the half. The Little Giants scored the last points of the half with:02 seconds left when Holmes found Hammer for the score. The P.A.T. would make this A 28-16 game, at the half.

This became 35-16, when Holmes found Anthony Vann for A 39-yard catch, with 8:35 left in the third. Late in the quarter, Holmes was sacked by Gage Kapp to bring up A fourth and eleven for the Little Giants. Lichtenberg found Tommy Gallagher for a completion of 40-yards and then for 3-yards, with the 2nd completion being A touchdown. with:16 seconds left in the quarter. Out of the hold of Dean Romaker, the P.A.T. off of Fulkerson’s foot made this A 35-23 game.

Justyn Toler would get A pick for the Titans, with 10:06 left in the game and that play set the tone for the entire quarter, as we all would come to know by the time the clock read 0:00.
#7 Jaedyn McKinstry caught a pass, with 9:02 left in the game and he used A Carlos Hyde type still arm to break free and go 68-yards making this A 35-30 game. A short time later the Little Giants fumbled the ball and after A long talk by the stripes, the Titans were awarded the ball on the Little Giants 17-yard line. McKinstry would make a diving touchdown catch, then A two-point conversion pass to DeGroff would make this 38-35 game at the 7:49 mark of the final quarter. Holmes found Spencer Price for A gain down to the Titans 23-yard line then 15-yards was added onto the play after A flag was thrown on TSJ. Holmes then found Spencer Price for A touchdown capping off A 82-yard drive to make this A 42-38 game, with 5:22 left. TSJ would start their next drive at their own 20-yard line. They slowly worked the ball down to the Little Giants 7-yard line on 12-plays. On play number 13 Lichtenberg sprinted to his right turned upfield and found the endzone for the game-winning touchdown. The P.A.T. ended the scoring giving us A 45-42 final.
