2020Springfield-DelcoDT

My name is Donovan Dyitt. I am part of the clas of 2020. I attend Springfield high school and take part in football, basketball, and will be doing track and field this spring.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?

Russell Westbrook because he plays with great intensity and will always play his heart out. He’s a great leader, great teammate, and a great person.

Why do you play football?

I play football because it is just part of who I am. I started playing in the 7th grade and have fell in loved with the game ever since. I love everything about it. The weight room, the team bonding, the big moments, the wins, the losses, everything. Football has taught me so much.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Waterboy because it’s a really funny movie and I love comedies. Adam Sandler is one of my favorite actors and seeing him and football combined together was great.

Tell everyone something about you that would make them laugh out loud:

I didn’t know how to tie my shoes until middle school. Also, I didn’t know what an entree was when I was asked at a smash burger in front of my friends.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

When I got the wind knocked out of me in 7th grade.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My younger brother and sister. I believe they look up to me because they see how much work I put in and they start to do the same for their athletics.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I would have to say basketball, hanging with my friends, working out, and playing some xbox.
