Why do you play football?
I play the game of football because it is my passion. As a son of a long time Pennsylvania high school football coach, I have been fortunate to be involved with football as I was growing up. I would stand on the field at practices, be the ball boy at Friday night games, and would sit in coaches meetings with my dad. I really don’t think there is a day that goes by that I do not do something football related.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?
Ray Lewis is one of my favorites because he is one of the greatest linebackers to ever play the game. I love his drive, his will to succeed, his leadership skills, and love he has for his faith.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play occurred in the semifinals of the district playoffs. We were winning 7-0 over 3-time defending district champions Pottsgrove Falcons. I blitzed off the edge and had a clear path to the quarterback as he had his eyes down field. I sacked him and caused a fumble/turnover on downs helping our team keep the momentum on our way to the school’s first ever playoff victory.

what are your goals for this coming season?
My hope is that we are able to play games at some point this school year. I’ve worked extremely hard in the offseason and my goal is to show everyone how much I’ve improved since last year.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
This is going to be an unpopular opinion is Pennsylvania but my favorite professional team is the Dallas Cowboys.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
Without a doubt the District Championship because it was the first time our school has ever accomplished that goal. The celebration with my teammates and student body after the game made it a really special moment.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Either Remember The Titans or The Express, both are classic football movies. Both movies show a team coming together and having their teammates backs on and off the field.

What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
For some reason every time I see Jimmy Neutron he reminds me of coach.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My mom is the yeller at the games, she yells things like “stay on your feet!” or “wrap him up!” My dad is on the coaching staff so he is pretty quiet because he is concentrating on helping coach the game.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like?
My father because I’ve learned to love the game through him and he’s always been there to support me.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would like to improve my golf game and become a better fisherman.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Playing basketball, I scored on my own basket in a game. That was pretty embarrassing.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
I get a lot of support from my extended family, friends, the core four, and the parents of my friends.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
When I have free time I enjoy spending time with my sisters and hanging out with my friends.

What is your favorite football memory to date?
Remembering all the great athletes I got to watch and play with during my Downingtown Young Whippets years.

What is your favorite play to run?
Defensively I really enjoy blitzing and coming off the edge. Offensively my favorite play to run is Zone.

What scares you the most?
Not having the opportunity to play football, basketball, or lacrosse this year.

Music of choice:
Hip Hop

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
Little Tikes basketball hoop because I spent many years playing in the kitchen with my dad and friends.

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
PJ Whelihans

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa
Wawa, no doubt!
