Why do you play football?
Weston: I play football because I loved watching my high school team play as a kid and I wanted to be just like the players one day.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
Weston: My favorite memory from football was my punt sophomore year against Springfield in the pouring rain. Our snapper had a wild snap and it almost went through the end zone and I picked it up and evade three guys and bombed the ball on the run to the opposite 40.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Weston: My favorite pro athlete is Miles Sanders because I love the way he runs and he plays for my favorite team
Who is your biggest fan and why?
Weston: My dad is my biggest fan because he misses playing football, so I think he sees himself in me playing. He’s easily the loudest fan at the games.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
Weston: I looked up to my dad as my role model because he’s lived a successful and happy life. He always does what’s best for me and supports me in everything I do.
What is your desired major in college?
Weston: Athletic training or Biology.
What are some team goals for this upcoming season?
Weston: Some of our team goals for this year are to beat Kennett, win Ches-monts, and make a run for a district title.
How has COVID-19 affected you?
Weston: Covid-19 has had a poor impact on me because it’s been very difficult to lift when you don’t have many weights at your house. But I’ve learned to not make excuses and find other ways to work out.
Favorite play to run?
Weston: Power
What is your personal goal for this season?
Weston: A personal goal of mine this year is to rush for 1,000 yards.
Favorite pre-game meal?
Weston: I don’t like to eat before games.
Sports movie?
Weston: Remember the Titans
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Weston: Basketball because I can’t shoot or dribble.
Is a hot dog a sandwich?
Weston: A hotdog is a sandwich
Favorite activities?
Weston: Outside of playing sports. I like to hang out with my friends.
