As a Sophmore, Daron led District 1 in interceptions and gained Scholarship offers from Syracuse and the University of Connecticut

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Chester High School ?
Proving all the people who think Chester kids can’t do the same thing as any other kid.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I’ve been playing football since I was 6.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Cheltenham had the best atmosphere and it was a close game that we ended up winning.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain
I would love to be on offense.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Being named 1st Team All League at DB.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
My highest point of last year was catching the interception against Rustin to put us up late in the fourth quarter in the District semifinal to go to the District championship.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
I’m going to miss the bond we created since I was a Freshman.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
To first win the District championship game and then win states.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star is O’dell, because all the injuries and hate, he overcame and still is one of the best in the NFL.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to play in Rutgers or Syracuse stadium and also the Eagles stadium.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My favorite game to watch was our game vs Rustin in the District semifinals just because of all the back and forth in that game, especially late in the game.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
The Longest Yard, I never get tired of watching that movie.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to kick an actual field goal in a game to win a championship.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to golf or be a professional fisherman.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Just to sit on the game and play Madden, Fortnite or MLB.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
My favorite vacation destination is Thailand.

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I’m scared of snakes.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
McDonald’s, can’t go wrong with a number 5 from McDonald’s with ranch sauce.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
Yes, I’ve been to some Eagles games.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NFL, it’s my personal best because that’s what I would love to play in one day.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
My favorite video game is Madden on Xbox.

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Pepperoni

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
I would take a plane to Australia.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
One goal I’ve set for myself is to buy my mother a house before the age of 30.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
The city, just because of all the people you can meet and you can try new eating places you never heard of before.
