Nate is a Captain and leads by example. He makes others around him better and plays with emotion and physicality. He is a two-year starter on offense and defense, receiving several post season honors on both sides of the ball.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Springfield High School ?
Playing for Springfield and seeing friends and family around the town the next day after a big win.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
Since flag football when I was 6.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Beating Ridley at Ridley with Springfield people filling up all of their stands. It was so electric because it was an away game that felt like a home game.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Offense, because the game is in our hands. I have confidence that our team will get the job done.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Scoring my first touchdown in Bert Bell football.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
Winning Central League Championship.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The friends that I made in my Freshman year on Varsity.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
Central League Championship, District Championship.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Saquon Barkley, because he’s a new Eagle and a Penn State Alum. He has a dog mentality and is a great running back.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Scoring the touchdown when we were tied up against Ridley that ended with us winning the game.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Shane Reynolds from Garnet Valley in my Freshman year. He was a hard runner and a great player.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I think I would love to play at a full Beaver Stadium. The energy at Penn State games is unmatched.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Eagles, my dad was always a huge birds fan and caused me to have that same love for them.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Eagles playoff game against the Falcons to put them to the Super Bowl.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Rudy, because it is inspirational and a great movie in general. Shows you what a great teammate looks like.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Hurdle someone without getting a flag for it.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Golf, in same season as football.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
When I turned over an onside kick in my Freshman year.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Lifting or playing games like Golf or Pickle Ball. All fun things that are also getting me better.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Wawa, always will be the best. What even is Rutters ?

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Sea Isle City

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Snakes

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Freddy’s, its tradition to go there after a big win.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I’ve been to many Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, Eagles, and Wings games.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NHL, I think it’s tied with NCAAF with most entertaining sport to watch.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Fortnite

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Buffalo Chicken

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Boat to the nicest beach a speed boat can get to.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
Island with a nice, clean big beach, so you can be all by yourself when you want to be and, can be with some friends the next day.
