Phenomenal Leader both on and off the field. Plays with more heart and grit than anyone I have seen. Always believes there is a play to be made.

What made you want to start playing football?

When I was in 6th grade I was a big soccer kid, then some kids from St. Margaret reached out and said you should try football. I was a scrawny little kid so my parents were hesitant but they gave me the green light and I haven’t looked back since then.

Do you model your game after any specific players?

I really like Josh Allen and Joe Burrow and I also love to watch Aaron Rodgers, those are my big 3.

What is your end goal in your football career?

My end goal is just to enjoy it, not to rush too fast and miss time. So in my senior year I’m focusing on having a good time with pretty much my family, my teammates and just enjoying every part.

What are your pre and post game traditions?

Me and a few kids on my team do a prayer circle before every game. I also wear on my wrist the letters BL which stand for my aunt who passed away when I was a kid.

Who has had the greatest influence on your football career?

One was my Dad, he really did a great job of pushing me but not forcing me to do stuff. So he really helped me keep my love for the game. Then there was my aunt, she never had the opportunity to do a lot of stuff because she was sick really young so that has just meant a lot. Even though they don’t always say it, my sisters look up to me so it’s always fun to see them in the stands while I’m playing.

How do you prepare yourself for game day outside of practice?

My sophomore year was my first start and we had a coach who would make me watch film with him. So he sent me this quote from Brian Dawkins and to prepare he had a notebook and he would visualize everything he was gonna do. So before bed I just take time and write down what I want to focus on before the game.

Have you learned anything about life through football?

You could say a lot of things and one is dedication. I also think you learn a lot about how to push through different challenges. Then, learning about how to listen, I think that’s also a big thing, learning how to take advice and turn it into something good.

What interests do you have other than football?

I’m a big christmas guy, I snowboard, I play lacrosse as well for Lower Merion. I also love to travel like road trips. I just like to stay active so I play a lot of sports.

What is your favorite escape from everyday life?

I love to watch movies and listen to music.

How have your coaches guided you through your high school journey?

They know how to push you and also mentor you. So like knowing how to balance getting yelled at but also stepping back to really teach you what you messed up.

How do you try to gain an advantage over other players?

For me personally a lot of it is pre snap, pre game stuff. Understanding their defense and being able to read the defenses before the ball is snapped.

What goals do you have for yourself and your team this season?

A goal for our team is to go over 0.500 this year which hasn’t happened in a while, and to beat Radnor. A goal for myself is to beat my passing yards from last year.

Do you have a favorite team or player to compete against?

My favorite team to play is Radnor, It’s always a good atmosphere. I have a lot of buddies that play but I don’t have a favorite to play against.

What shows, movies, or books do you enjoy the most?

I’m a big Adam Sandler guy and the Rock, his acting is not that good but he’s hilarious, him and Kevin Hart.

What kind of connection do you have with your teammates?

My connection has been really built from the upper classmen so they did a great job my freshman year of introducing me to the team. My sophomore year was also fun because of them. I’ve really gotten close with a lot of kids. Actually Kechan Miller lives at my house in the summertime so he’s downstairs with my little sisters right now.

What is your go to choice of snack and drink at the gas station?

I’m a big hoagie guy, I love Italian hoagies. I’ll probably grab some chocolate loaded trail mix but no raisins, I hate raisins. Then probably a body armour.
