Why do you play football?
I love the competition and physicality of football and most importantly just love the game itself.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Jameson Williams. He’s always a big play threat and there’s nothing more entertaining than watching him at Alabama.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Week 1 vs Perkiomen Valley we had a 4th and 1 goal line stop. That one was definitely my favorite play because we then went on to take the lead that next drive late in the 4th quarter. I feel that play kind of set the tone for us the rest of our season.
What was last years season like for you?
It was awesome. The group of guys we had was amazing we were all like brothers and we were able to bring home Springfields first ever district championship.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Win the central league and go back to back winning the district one championship.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
My own teammate Maddox Moleski. Our 1v1’s are always chippy and competitive. It’s great to have a guy like him on the team to really prepare you for what you’re going to be experiencing on Friday nights.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Definitely Super Bowl 59 getting to watch the eagles blow out the chiefs.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
The perfect teammate would be someone who’s always there for you picking you up after certain things don’t go your way but they also know when to get on you and kind of discipline you after mistakes to get you back in check.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
A lot of the student body likes going to football games so it really brings them all together and even other people in the town stop by to watch just for fun so it really brings a lot of the community together.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to throw a touchdown pass.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mom because she’s very kind and works extremely hard.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite is definitely defensive 7 on 7s and my least favorite is probably the rabbit pursuit drill.
Preseason Two a Days are:
Difficult but necessary to get us prepared for our season .
