Back on April 5th of this year Pennridge senior running back Brennan Fisher verbally committed to play football for Army West Point.  This morning he made it official as he signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Black Knights.  Brennan had a dominant year on the ground in a stacked District One conference where he racked up over 1400 yards on the ground (6.3 ypc) & 14 touchdowns. I caught up with Brennan to see how he was feeling after officially signing
and he said, “It feels great knowing I’m locked in. All that time before the signing coaches are texting and calling you trying to flip your decision. Also I can now say I’m officially a Black Knight and apart of the brotherhood.” I also wanted to know if he was excited to be heading up to West Point. He said, “I’m more than excited to get up there and compete again. That feeling of no starting spots are guaranteed is what makes me work hard everyday and continue to grind.”  He also let me know what he’s looking forward to the most, “I’m looking forward most to just being up there and living with the team, we all talk almost everyday so it’s like a ticking clock until we can just all hangout and go to work.”  I know that Army is getting a stud because in the three games I covered this season, he rushed for over 150 yards each time and even ran one back in a double overtime thriller that was my game of the year.  On behalf of PFN, we congratulate you and wish you luck at the next level.
