47 points were allowed by Wissahckon tonight. Six of those points came from, not a touchdown, but safeties. Three of them. The final score was 47-0 on the rainy night.

“I believe that we will win!” chants begun in the second quarter by the Lansdale Catholic fans section.

In the first three quarters when the starters were playing for the Trojans, the passed for -1 yards, and had only one first down, which came from a pass interference call. Nick Santo started the game after sitting out last week due to a shoulder injury. From the first drive they were not able to get the run game going. The Crusaders came out with a blitzing on almost every play and the Trojans had no answer.

The Trojans sit at 0-3 to start the season. It is not ideal but there is still a long season ahead, giving Coach Fleming a chance to turn this Wissahickon season around.

Next week, Wissahickon will host rival Plymouth Whitemarsh for Military Appreciation Night.
