In what has been probably the shortest “recruitments” of 2019 season, Neshaminy QB Brody McAndrew didn’t waste any time in accepting his first offer,  from New Hamphire,  that he received on June fourth.

Brody led the Redskins to the SOL title in 2018, throwing for nearly 1500 yards and 16 TDs. The 6-3, 200 pound QB had amassed over 3,300 yards throughout his career at Neshaminy. He accepted the offer from New Hampshire and announced it on twitter yesterday:

We caught up with Brock and asked him about his decision:

PFN: How long have you played football?

Brody: I played football since I was 6 years old.

PFN: Why did you choose to commit to the Wildcats?

Brody: I chose UNH because it felt like home it felt like Neshaminy.

PFN: Why commit early?

Brody: I committed early because I knew this was where I wanted to be. There was no point in waiting for more offers if anymore were to come. I love it there so I decided to commit before someone else took my opportunity

PFN: Who was your biggest influence at New Hampshire, who recruited you?

Brody: The biggest influences were coach santos, coach gillick and coach mack.

PFN: What are they getting in player like you?

Brody: They are getting a tough competitor who will strive to be great everyday.

PFN: What was the recruiting process like for you?

Brody: The recruiting process had its ups and downs i’m definitely glad it’s over and done with. In the beginning it was fun but towards the end it became frustrating.

PFN: What position were you recruited for?

Brody: I was recruited for QB

PFN: Do you know what you’d like to study?

Brody: I haven’t fully decided what I want to study yet.

PFN: What do you think is the most exciting thing about the UNH program?

Brody: The thing I find most exciting about the program is the atmosphere they bring. It seems like a lot of fun to play in front of the New Hampshire crowd and I can’t wait to win games for them.

PFN: Tell everyone out there in Wildcat land something they’d never know about you until you told them:

Brody: Something that no one would ever know is that my favorite pizza is bacon, chicken and honey mustard.

PFN: Who is the person who most influenced you in your football career?

Brody: The person who most influenced me would be Peyton Manning. He was my favorite QB growing up and I try to model my release and preparation after his.

PFN: What is it you’d like all your high school team mates and fans to know about your decision that you might have a hard time saying in person?

Brody: I would like them to know that I thought long and hard about this decision and that I will miss playing at heart break ridge in front of all of them.
