Perkasie-The Pennridge High School football program has officially named Kyle Beller its 9th head football coach. Beller will also serve as a faculty member at the high school in the business department. Per Pennridge’s official press release, Beller spent the past twelve seasons with multiple Lehigh Valley Football programs. His most recent coaching experience at Whitehall High School from 2020 to 2022 was as the defensive coordinator and helped lead the Zephyr’s to the 2022 District 11, 5A Championship and a Quarterfinals appearance in the PIAA State Championship tournament. “After conducting an extensive search, we are excited to welcome Kyle to the Pennridge Ram family. It was important to find a partner who was committed to driving our football program to Suburban league success while embracing the Pennridge community and our student-athletes,” said Pennridge High School Director of Athletics Scott Hegen. “We had 20 Head Coach applicants from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Iowa. During his interview process, we quickly learned how Kyle cares about his players and is committed to their growth and development into champions and the coaches we spoke to about him reinforced what we thought.” Beller, who was also a four-year starter and Team Captain at Linebacker for Delaware Valley University and, as a Senior, a tri-captain for Dieruff High School, explains how his coaching experience at varying grade levels, multiple positions, and adversity with teams has been the backbone of his experience. “I believe that the Pennridge Football Program can be a very competitive program in the Suburban One League with the number of student-athletes, facilities, and support from administration and the community. I am extremely excited and thankful to have this new opportunity and am most excited about meeting the team and getting started.”
