What does your offense need to improve on from last year? |
We have holes at WR and OL, but feel there is plenty of options as the receiver position to fill-in losses. OL had an outstanding season last year and there will be a battle for several positions as we enter 2019. There is a lack of physical size on the OL, but there is a toughness in this group of seniors. Outlook: QB will need to develop chemistry with mostly new receiving corps and the OL will need to gel early to reach last season’s productivity. |
What does your defense need to improve on from last year |
Many holes at OLB and SS positions. Most of DL returns. Front needs to get better pressure on the QB in 2019. An experienced secondary will help in that area with a great corps of returners who can cover. Outlook: position battles will be key early on as the schedule is very demanding in first several weeks of season. Cannot afford to start out slow like last season |
What are your overall thoughts on this years team? |
Overall, this is a good group of players who will need to mature and come together as a team both on and off the field. Seniors will need to write their own chapter by taking responsibility and lead this team. Will have to overcome several losses to make a similar run like the past four seasons. |
