Q&A

What made you choose football?

I just love the game. 

What’s your favorite football memory?

My first varsity TD, I caught my first varsity touchdown while my brother, JD, broke the school’s passing record.

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

I like to camp, golf, hang out with my friends, and play computer games.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

I have a 4.0 in school, and I lettered in all three sports I participated in as a freshman. 

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

Randy Moss, he can catch passes.

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

Finding motivation, and I’m not sure I have overcome it. I am excited to get back to team workouts.

Do you prefer offense or defense?

Tough call. I really like hitting people, but scoring points is good too. 

Who is your biggest role model?

My dad. He always took the time to play sports in the yard with my brother and me, and I think he made us into the athletes we are today.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

 I don’t know, and I try not to listen. 

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

Team goals-have fun and continue winning Personal goals-do whatever I can to help my team reach their goals. 

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

My brother JD, my cousin Jason and a good friend Bryan, we always have fun together.

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

 I like to play Magic the Gathering. 

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

I like to watch wrestling, but I’d rather not do it.

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

To have fun and not take things too seriously.

What is your expectation of Maplewood football this season?

Have a winning season and go deep into the playoffs and take a shot at the District X title.

What is your favorite TV show? 

South Park

What is your favorite movie?

Old School Cartoons

What is your favorite subject in school?

  Computer Programming

What music do you listen to?

Mostly anything
