Q&A

What made you choose football?

I chose football because it was the first sport I ever played, and when I started to get older, the passion for it grew stronger, and it just stuck with me.

What’s your favorite football memory?

My favorite football memory was winning the first round in the playoffs because it was the first playoff win in years at my old school in Colorado.

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

Activities I enjoy outside of football are gaming and studying/looking at the stars.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

My non-football accomplishments I’m most proud of is taking college classes as a freshman and sophomore.

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

My favorite athlete is Micheal Thomas because he is one of the best receivers in the league right now, and his route running is crisp, so I love to watch him play and learn from him and get better.

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

The most difficult thing is lifting because all gyms were closed, so I had to make the best of it with the weights in my basement.

Do you prefer offense or defense?

 I prefer offense.

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role model is both my parents because they are always there for me and show a lot of love for me. They just taught me everything I need to know. They always know what’s best for me.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

My dad is most likely to yell BEASTMODE! My mom likes to just enjoy watching me play because she always knows I will give my all because that’s what she taught me to do.

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

The team’s goal is to be a great fundamental team and go farther than the first round in the playoffs. Personal goals for the season are to improve as a receiver and enjoy my senior season and make great memories with my teammates. 

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

I would choose Jerry Rice, Babe Ruth, and Micheal Thomas

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

 A hobby I have is I like to just stare at the stars at night.

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

Basketball is my other favorite sport to play.

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

I hope they learn from me is never to give up and always give your 110% no matter what because you never know who’s watching you.

What is your expectation of North East football this season?

My expectation is everyone is a hard worker and always wants to learn more than they already know.

What is your favorite TV show? 

All I watch is Sportscenter. 

What is your favorite movie?

Remember the Titans is my favorite movie.

What is your favorite subject in school?

 My favorite subject is science.

What music do you listen to?

I listen to jazz by Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington.
