What are your expectations for your team this year?
The expectations at Sharon never change. There is a high standard of success that has long been established. Last year was a tough year and this group expects to turn that around. We expect to compete for a Region Championship, qualify for the playoffs, compete for a District 10 Championship, and compete for a State Championship.
When your team is on offense, what are the keys to success?
Offensive line play will dictate our success. Regardless of the style of offense and the personnel behind it, the offensive line is the life blood of everything we do. If they are playing well we will have a chance to win a lot of games. Beyond line play, we must take great care of the football and generate explosive plays.
When your team is on defense, what are the keys to success?
Stopping the run. Our goal is to make teams one dimensional and that starts w/ stopping the run. If you can’t stop the run you can’t stop anything. In addition to stopping the run we want to prevent big plays against, and force turnovers.

Players we should keep an eye on?
Ja-on Phillips is tremendously skilled football player who had a really strong 2020 season in all 3 phases of the game.
Bryce Carroll will be in his 3rd year starting on the OL and 2nd on the DL. He has been All-Region offensively as a sophomore and junior. He will anchor of lines.
Shane Rowe is a tremendous blocker who became a reliable receiver as well. He is shifting from OLB to DE this year and we expect him to have a big season.
Jayden Robinson is as tough as they come. He’ll be our primary ball carrier and is stepping into a starting role at MLB.
