Kickoff: 7:00 pm – Slippery Rock University
District X AAA Title Game
Friday’s championship will be a rematch of a game played on September 23rd, where Grove City slipped past Slippery Rock 22-21 in the closing seconds.

Grove City will look to win its fifth District X title and their second consecutive haven beaten the Rockets 28-20 in last year’s title game.

Vs. Fairview 35-21 – W
Vs. Sharon 22-21 – W
The Eagles also won the 5A title in 2017 and 3A in 2011 while taking home the 2A title in 2004 and advancing to the state final against Lansdale Catholic, where Grove City fell 40-17.
Slippery Rock Rockets

League – District X Region 3
This season: (7-4) Overall – (4-3) League
Rocket Notes:
Slippery Rock will look to win their third District X title in school history since winning their titles in 2002 & in 2003. The Rockets will attempt to beat the Eagles for the first time in playoffs. Grove City beat Slippery Rock 26-9 in the 2018 3A semifinals and 28-20 in last year’s title game.
